I did not create this module and the original credits are still intact but I have fixed many of the existing bugs that people are having problems with (hopefully ).

28/06/2005 - Updated to version 1.5 with more fixes
26/06/2005 - Updated to version 1.4 with many fixes

I am not a PHP programmer so if you are having any problems with this module can you please mention these in the main support forums, thanks

Features:

1) Private chat facility working
2) All English menus in the admn area are now displayed in English
3) Page footer is now displayed correctly
4) Room selection now works correctly
5) Insertion of smilies now fixed and working
6) Private chat facility now does not refresh the whole screen

System Requirements:

If scrolling is NOT required within the main message window please open /modules/xoopschat/index.php and on line 52 change the part within the iframe tag as follows from "scrolling=yes" to "scrolling=no"

Hi,

I'd love to try a chat module, but the links for this one are broken.

The mirror is to a "page not found" error, and the main one redirects to the sourceforge downloads for the xoops package.

Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
