Description:

After reading several threads in forums explaining how to hack the main menu code to add an item that was simply a link, I decided to create the Main Menu Link module. It provides the ability to create a Main Menu item that is a hyperlink to a defined URL, internal to site or external.

Eliminate need to remember main menu hack
Positioning item in menu works just like any module
Control permissions as to who can view and access item
Instructions for cloning module included

There is an error in zip file to download from http://downloads.sourceforge.net/xoops/xoops2-mod_mainmenulink1.zip.

It isn'w well zipped, because there isn't the directory.
Compare wiht author's file. (This is OK)

cool, its been a while since ive used xoops, but i remember this annoying me so thanks for a better way!
