Ask Michelle - Ack No RC2 Last Weekend?!
Yes, unfortunately we were not able to release RC2 this past weekend.
If you all are disappointed, how do you think I feel? But hey, that's coders for you. They want to release a bug free product, even if it'll be a beta candidate.

Download names...
How about sorting out a quick set of guidelines as to how to name files so that we know what version they are designed for?
I just downloaded the errorhandler (errorhandler.zip) and when you dump it in your folder with all the othe downloads it is not that explanatory.
Mabye errorhandler-xoop-rc13.zip would be a better idea?
If there are sort of guideliens everyone sticks to when posting downloads it dose tend t omake things easier.

Some post rules here, please
Hello dear here,
Welcome here and Thank you like this program and give us many help ,suggestions. But sometimes we have different idea and point. It can make progress also some argument. that's No prob. but please not here, you can use mail or PM to talk about your different Point. We don't think it should be posted at Forum. The forum is only for the Xoops use ! sugest, idea, bug repports etc!! So we have the rule here.
If the users Fight or argue at the forum. First time,we will delete those posts and Banned the user post for two weeks, the second time, we will not welcome the user and will delete his account.
So If you love our project, please let here clean, just talk about the program. No argument , no fight. That's all. Thanks.

Ask Michelle, Weekly Report - RC2 Update and Themes, Changelog as well
Hello All, Here's the latest update from the Xoops Team. We are now debugging RC 1.3. If everything goes well, we may be releasing RC2 by this weekend. At which point we'll institute a code freeze. Then you module developers can "go to town" and start creating cool modules for the community. If you module devs want to create fun modules, I would look at our current poll and at the very least start developing those modules (although the team is already at work on those, I don't know what the eta is for them). SUPPORT SITES Since so many people want to be support sites, we're thinking about holding a contest for Support Sites. I'd appreciate any feedback from the community and support site folks on the best way of going about doing this.
