XOOPS 2.0.6 RC has been released for testing. Please test this release as much as possible, so that any remaining issues can be uncovered and resolved before the final 2.0.6 release.
Both zip and tar.gz packages are available on our download page.

I saw myself entrusted with the responsibility for the ‘XOOPS Theme Design’ Team.
We have created a new website dedicated for the support, design and development of XOOPS themes and graphics. This website will be the official portal for XOOPS Themes, including comprehensive documentation and the best XOOPS theme library ever realised.
If you are a designer, creator or writer? Give your experience in graphic design to the whole XOOPS community and join the XOOPS Theme Design Team! Drop me an e-mail if you're interested.

I just wanted to announce the creation of another community web portal powered by xoops 2.0.5.
This is my first web site made with xoops. Although I experimented too much, tried many xoops modules, and have tried to test XOOPS limits, Windsor Mall turned out to be a web portal that has real commercial potentials.
It means XOOPS is definitely a CMS for professional site builders. All core modules are stable, new modules are innovative, attractive and easy to fix, search engine friendly set up is … (apache rewrite) possible, and xoops community is one of the most productive CMS communities.

First of all I would like to say happy new year for the xoops community.
Then to begin this year, I released the last version of icontent module, the 4.5. Icontent is a html page management module with a lot of features like url automatic correction, automatic remove of header content, comments, votes, search, page upload, page download, online modification with wysiwyg editor, online creation of page and category, powerfull access management with the xoops groups etc...
