In this episode I try to show, with screenshot, how to set up the banner into Xoops.

Some modifications to the evennews module
Hi,
I have made some modifications to the evennews module (a script to send newsletters) :
1) I have replaced some <? with <?php
2) French translation included
3) The form to send a message has been modified
4) The subscription and unsubscribre runs perfectly
5) I have added the search
6) The module now use the Xoops class to send emails
7) Nothing was happening when you was unscribing while you was not subscribe
8) Templates have been "internationalized". No more hard coded texts
9) Bugs corrections
10) The confirmation message in now a template file
11) You can send Text or Html emails
12) The subscribe and unsubscrire buttons are now "internationalized". They are located in the "language" folder
13) The time display now use the Xoops functions and "format"
14) You can delete old messages
15) You have a block to subscribe/unsubscribe
16) The javascript error messages are now in the language files

This version has been tested and used with Xoops 2.0.6

Articles version 0.09 available
Version 0.09 of Articles, the Xoops 2 module is now available.
The main changes since the last public release (v0.06) are:
o Fixed problems with showing special/extended characters in article and
category title input text box when editing.
o A few minor changes to prevent possible problems.
o Added a "flat" or "threaded" view option to the index page where you can choose to either show categories and article listings, or just categories with sub-links to article lists.
o Added general prefs page with option for above, as well as option to change the background colour of the article text table.
o Updated database update script for this version.
o Various minor changes and stuff.
o Cleaned up "undefined variables" in category admin.
o Cleaned up "undefined variables" in article admin.
o Fixed disable html/smilies/codes not inserting into database when adding a new article.
o Author's/Poster's UID now stored in database (for future use).
o Fully implemented Xoops' "displayTarea" function, so main article text will now enable/disable: HTML tags, Smilies, Xoops codes, images and auto line break conversion (on a "per article" basis and not for all).
o fixed a bug in article admin list table being broken.

European XOOPS Conference 2004? (help needed!)
Hello XOOPSers! The XOOPS COre Team has cought the idea to organise a European XOOPS Conference in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in the beginning of May. Around that time the Spring PHP Conference will be held there as well, so people who want to, can combine the two events in one trip. The purpose of the event is to learn and teach, to display and check out, to preach and believe, and to meet and greet and have fun, of course! We have a draft program proposal, but we need your help!

Agenda-X 2.0RC is just released, the new Agenda-X allows easy management of almost every possible combination of recurring events: daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, every N day(s), every other month, on the same day every month, on last sunday of every 2 months except on..., on 2nd monday of every month counting from the end but not on... etc, etc...
The attractive and popular Mini-calendar block is enhanced with easier random image display, just put your image files in a directory, and let Agenda-X show it!
