I've tried to find a module which could make the job of translation being more convenient. But now I make a poor one...
I hope this module could be better soon. But my programing skill is as poor as my English. So I registed a project in Module Dev Forge. Hope somebody could improved it before the improvement of my skill...

Until ackbarr releases 2.02 version (hopefully very soon 
), anyone uses the newsletter module on a production site is recommended to update.
1) fixed page navigation to show all newsletters in the archives
2) hided newsletter admin email for security measures (preventing email harvesting and spamming)
3) removed search function in the archive template file (for now, as it is not working)

Module Repository Cleaner Needed
We are about to clean up the whole file repository here on xoops.org as well as the repository on SourceForge.net
Since this is quite a large task, I would very much like some help with it.
Anyone with a bit of time to spare would be welcomed with open arms and a big thank you.
Tasks involved are:
a) Ensure that the file repository has no broken links
b) Ensure that the files listed are the latest version
c) Update listings to the latest version
d) Ensure that the files are in the right category

Articles, XOOPs article manager version 0.17 released
Articles Version 0.17 is mainly a bug fix release for v0.16a. The changes are:
o E-mail to friend function would fail if your site is running on a version of PHP older than 4.3.0 - the result was a blank page. I have added a custom function for sites using older versions of PHP.
o Category and article titles in both front and back ends may have been displayed with garbled text. I only found this on one of my sites, but I have made some changes to try and prevent anyone else from experiencing this problem.
o Actually got around to writing some installation instructions...
