XOOPS @ FOSDEM 2005 wants you!

The FOSDEM Team put out a call for Presence at the next FOSDEM meeting that will be held feb 26-28 2005 in Brussels, Belgium. Dries of the Drupal Developers Team suggested we'd collaborate on this and get a CMS Developer Room and Booth there. I was thinking that this could be a good place to organise a real XOOPS Development meeting? To meet other XOOPSers and talk about development issues and futures.
Depending on the programme and possibilities, there'd be no costs for this event, travel and lodging expenses are yours.

Mithrandir will be there, as will I (herko), Skalpa, Bunny, StudioC and Jan304 have also expressed interest in coming, but I'd like to see more people there! If more people will come, we can make a programme of sorts and get something cool worked out

So, let us know you're coming!

XOOPS. Church Site. Rawk.

I recently setup this site for a church in the area. They originally came to me for a Frontpage site(EEK!), which is interesting, since I don't sully OOPSoops, and a custom theme by the beautiful and mysterious Goran(http://www.7dana.com).

XOOPS nailed the account and Goran, as usual, nailed the theme EXACTLY. Just the right look and feel for a church site. Not too much, just enough. I will be using him again. He rocks. He makes me look good, too.

XOOPS makes it easy for everyone. Especially me.

Migration to XOOPS for Elegant Home Decorating Ideas

The migration to XOOPS represents the 4th major change in the look and feel of Elegant Home Decorating Ideas.

All of the previous incarnations of this website had shortcomings; XOOPS, in combination with other available modules, does everything that a webmaster could want. I have to admit to not trying PostNuke, or mambo. But, I'm happy.

If any of you are interested in any way with home decor, please check out my site, and leave a comment, or three.

Flightsimcenter.net frustrated with phpNuke moves to XOOPS

I moved my site over to, IMO, the best CMS: XOOPS. I found XOOPS rather ironically. I was having trouble with phpNuke so I went to their site for help. Under a support article I read about XOOPS. So here I am using it succsessfully under my site Flightsimcenter.net

XOOPS-Plasma Theme - Ready to Go!

XOOPS@IBDeeming is proud to announce the release of XOOPS-Plasma theme for XOOPS 2.0.7+. This theme is loosely based on a PHPNuke theme called Plasmatic. This theme has much less overhead than it's cousin - as most of the formatting is done through the CSS. There is also a little animation for the block headings! Check it out!

Included with this theme are blank buttons and blank headers so you can create your own site logo.

See it HERE!

Articles v0.18a released, and new Events module

I have released version 0.18a of my Articles module. This version contains a few minor improvements and bug fixes. The main change in this version is the addition of the pagination ([pagebreak]) feature.

Also released is AM Events, an events module that I started some time ago. This is the first public beta release. AM Events shows events as a list, with the next event at the top, events expire automatically, but are not deleted so can be relisted easily. There are 2 blocks, one is a calendar and the other is for upcoming events.
