Hello everybody,
I am pleased to announce the release of TDMDownloads 1.1.
This version fixes several bugs and brings some new features:
- The module supports the tagging system module 'TAG'.
- 2 options added in the preferences, the first to rename or not the uploaded file and the second to enter the prefix when the file is renamed.
- Added option "number of downloads per page in the administration."
- Fix a bug with the default editor of xoops (html display when editing).
- Fix a bug when deleting a category.
- Change management platforms (multi-menu selection) with the values defined in the preferences of the module.
- Added ability to rename the post and put the date of submission to date or not.
- Bug in the details of the votes in the admin, all votes were visible in all downloads.
- Fixed a bug in the admin for the download management when making a selection in the "waiting for validation", the filter brought on normal downloads.
- Added system information the last version
- Fixed French language files in uft-8
- Fixed script import Mydownloasd 1.6
- Fixed script import WF-Downloads 3.2 RC2
See lang_diff.txt file to define the new language.
To start the tags you find the plugin in the folder 'extra' (with another plugin
).As with any installation, I suggest you make a backup of your site.

The CK2 Club is a computer club in Tainan City (Taiwan) dedicated to XOOPS (read more here).
The recent module they developed is xBooking - an Online Booking module, which was made for a charitable organization. It was written by Kimozi, the CK2 Club leader, and the theme of website is designed by Jack (he was once a newspaper art editor).

Instant-Zero has a new version of its content management module for Xoops, SimpleContent.
SimpleContent is a paid module which will enable you to manage easily the content or your website, with several different options.
The module enables you, in addition of the text of your page, to join a file to each page, to attach pictures (with thumbs creation and resizing) and to manage, with high granularity, the links to your other pages and even to add html code to your pages.
With the help of "shortcodes" (some special tags), you can also integrate some specific elements in your text, where you wish.
The module was also designed to help you to enhance your position in the search engines.
This new version, extends the module's functionalities with the addition of a plugins system.
The first plugin will enable you to send a "twit" on Twitter as soon as you will create a new page.
The module uses bit.ly to create links pointing to your website, this will enable you to get some statistics about the clicks in your twits.

debaser 3 half baked released
I am quite proud to announce the release of debaser 3 half baked.
Half baked? Inspired from an ancient discussion with me I decided to introduce a new development cycle.
Half baked = Alpha
Half finished = Beta
Abandoned = Final
Due to the half baked status there will be lot of bugs and of course this module is not for production sites. Which features made it into this release:
1) Playlist for MP3 files (public or private)
2) New file manager (experimental)
3) Flash Uploader
4) Much, much jquery
5) Re-organisation of player and filetypes
6) Lame-Support for re-encoding of MP3 files
7) Files could be played in a modal window

X-Forum is a completely extensible forum module for XOOPS, this is the complete stable release of the first version. It does require Frameworks 1.20 or later.
Designed for XOOPS 2.3 and earlier version, it was written in response to problems with earlier forum titles, that had in some cases installation issues. With a broad range of options. X-Forum is a great solution to your forum requirements, complete with RSS Features and image management.
It will utilise a wide range of options and allow your community to discuss issues, raise topic and solution. Complete with .htaccess example and SEO with a medium URL.
With X-Forum you can have all the convenience of the modular newbb path without the result. Based on CBB with a sound environment that even your grandma can use, I know mine does this is solid stuff coming directly to you under GNU Licenses.
Complete with Easy Path SEO Guide and help in the preference, you can even with some simple SQL Injections transfer your old CBB 2.x or 3.x over to X-Forum with ease.
In later version we will be updating more the the templates to give it a nice evenly rounded abstraction without that old box XOOPS look from just static templates for you to build from.

VJ Mixes is a simple module developed for embedded video from online sources, it is a basic and easy to use module for development of an online resource of video's based in category. It is written primarily for XOOPS 2.3 and XOOPS 2.4 but should also work on earlier versions.
This module was developed for Bee Unlimited a popular UK Animated video site. Which is also in the process of moving to new services - But if you want to you can use this module which was written recently over the last couple of days for Gaz from www.bee-unlimited.co.uk.

VidShop 1.53
VidShop 1.53
VidShop is a video or binary shop that allow embedded video from external sources like youtube to be associated with binary downloads. The download are normally store in another directory of the .htaccess protected space known as the XOOPS_VAR_PATH.
You will have to create a directory for your binaries off 'xoops_data' as for example /home/ursite/xoops_data/downloads of course you can set this location as you please. The download section is a controlled section that allows for total count and day limited cleaning, that is removal of the purchase items if the download counter is maximized from clickiness.
