VJ Mixes is a simple module developed for embedded video from online sources, it is a basic and easy to use module for development of an online resource of video's based in category. It is written primarily for XOOPS 2.3 and XOOPS 2.4 but should also work on earlier versions.
This module was developed for Bee Unlimited a popular UK Animated video site. Which is also in the process of moving to new services - But if you want to you can use this module which was written recently over the last couple of days for Gaz from www.bee-unlimited.co.uk.

WURFL 1.26
WURFL is a module that will allow theme designers to implement themes customised for Mobile Computing. WURFL is a XML Database that this module will import and allow for propogation of it resources on User Agent based browsing of mobile phones.
WURFL is a world leader in Mobile communication data and this module utilizes WURFL from sourceforge (see.http://wurfl.sourceforge.net).
This module will propogate data on the <{$wurfl}> smarty tag on array depths, you can set which providers you require for data to conversely populate on the source.
This will allow theme designers and module writters to search for data regarding mobile computing and allow for knowledge in the theme of RSS, CSS, Display Size, Image Types, Sound Fontage, and other data such as SMS and MMS.. As well as information about CHTML or XHTML sources.

YouPlayer Video module
Today I've completed my first XOOPS module.
The module is supposed to represent on page Bilib videos from Youtube in flash format:
You can similarly integrate it with some embed code, as used by YouTube
or you can use SWFObject
There are 3 variables
- Playlist = place the name of an XML playlist
- autoplay = true or false
- rollover_changing_thumbs = true or false (if the thumbnails to change on roll over)
XML structure:
As you can see, the XML structure very simple
Whenever you want a new YouTube video,
you just need a node named
"Title", a node named "ID" and a node named "Description"
You have here an example:
YOUTUBE_ID
Description (supports HTML text with CDATA)
All in mylist.xml
so it could show videos to your site when they want and how they want ...

Indexscan 2.0 Released
Indexscan scans your webfolders to see if you have folders without index files. Should it find a folder without index.html, index.htm, index.php or index.php3 it prints out the location and you can then descide weather to manually place a new or use the automatic create link and automaticly create index.html files in all folders that are missing.
The tool is only accessable through admin in your site.
I have now released indexscan as a version 2.0.
Changes are.:
- Added search words "fromCharCode","%69%66%72%61%6D%65","document.write(unescape(" to search words in iframe scan, to look for encoded javascript includes
- Spiced the scanning up with some highlighting javascript + some jquery for the scan and messages with lazy load
- Excluded the modules/indexscan from the iframe scan. The description and functions contain multible iframe-words and thus always gets caught in the scan.
- french translation and style css corrections (thanks Kris_fr)
Default english translations have been added in all language files. Feel free to send me in your language so I can change to correct language.

1. Overwrite all the old files with the new one;

debaser 3.04 Half Finished released!
After 256 downloads of the Half Baked-release and NO bug reports I am proud to announce the release of debaser 3.04 Half Finished. In my own nomenklatura Half Finished means BETA.
Maybe I said this before, but what is in the package?
1) Add multilingual description with no extra markup (the module xlanguage is needed)
2) Ajax search function which makes suggests for search terms
3) Inner display of players or popups
4) Public and private playlists
5) Re-encoding of MP3 with Lame (have to be installed separately)
6) Batch processing of files
7) Flash uploader with progress bar and timer
8) Adminstration for radio and tv stations
9) Per-user-directories with quota or no quota
10) Code embedding for other websites
11) Support for nearly all players also from websites like YouTube, clipfish etc. Even external players can be added
12) File manager is included
13) Script for detailed (underestimating) information added
14) Upgrade script from debaser 0.92x to debaser 3.04 Half Finished. No upgrade from alpha or pre-alpha! Read carefully the release notes for the upgrader on dev.xoops.org or displayed on the upgrade script page
15) and tons of blocks and other features I forgot to mention
Bad news as well: You have to turn on javascript to make debaser 3.04 Half Finished work properly. I kicked out some WYSIWYG editors, right now only tinyMCE and CKEditor are supported. 3.04 is meant only for XOOPS 2.3 and 2.4, but the module could! work for the 2.0-series.
