A Couple of Sites

Use Xoops for a Blog? A little overkill, but what the heck? I moved my site, DaveDorm, to Xoops a few weeks ago, from Wordpress. I was unable to import some three years of archives, but I knew the risks going in. It's a personal blog, but Xoops was, as usual, up to the task. DaveDorm is located at http://www.davedorm.com

My other site is for a SciFi club called Genesis Fleet. We are using Xoops with several key modules, including piCal, the CafePress module, and others. We have a few dozen members and growing every day. Genesis Fleet is located at http://www.genesisfleet.com

You can find information (Geography, tipical products and dishes, Tourism) about this poorly known zone and it's famous Aglianico vine in three languages. Looking forward that even more Xoops modules will be able to deal with multiple languages in the future .
I've forgot to say: Xoops is great!

After a lot of time with the 2.8.x version, it was necessary to make an update and correct some bugs.
Some functionnalities were necessary too.
So, i worked with Fabien (a student friend) during few weeks. I'm happy today to present our work.

Be careful, due of many changes in this version, it is incompatible with previous versions !

You will find a file 'install.txt' in the formulaire folder, read it before installing.

XOOPS 2.2 Development Roadmap
Written by Mithrandir

Welcome to the XOOPS 2.2 Development Roadmap. This roadmap defines the core development strategy for the XOOPS project for the coming period.

Introduction
A lot has happened since the first XOOPS Roadmap (link no longer available)(released by Onokazu on 21 September 2002, and updated on 13 October and 26 December 2002), set the development path for the XOOPS system.
A tremendous effort of bringing together the knowledge, creativity and skills lead to the creation of an object oriented, extensible, flexible, secure and stable portal system: XOOPS 1.0.
