8 new BCOOL themes were released.
Up to now, I have made almost 2column type.
But I released a lot of flexible and 3column type in this time.
Someone said "..2column and fix.. is unnecessary" when I released the theme first.
I had thought that there might be people who felt like that before I distributed
the themes.
However, I did not think that I used XOOPS only for the community site and the portal site.
I want to make XOOPS known to the world more as EASY CMS.(Not only community site tool)
Therefore, to propose a new usage, I distributed the themes with the originality such as 2column type.

Parliament: Say NO to Software Patents!
The Software Patents Directive, as approved by the European Council of Ministers, would codify US-style Software Patents in the European Union.
If that happens, software developers will no longer own what they write and can be sued for selling or distributing their own software.
If you don't inform your parliament, mega-corporations will do the job for you: "The European Parliament is filled with lobbyists of Microsoft, Eicta, CompTIA and so on. There are 30 to 40 lobbyists permanently roaming the halls." (in Eweek, 21 June)

This is primarily a bug fix release, but there is one new feature.
New Features
Admin While Browsing - Create and edit pages while browsing the site. When you are logged in as an administrator, you now have 2 icons. One edits the current page and the other creates a new page at the same level. The menu also includes a link to create a new Main Menu level page.

Slight Delay in XOOPS 2.2 Release
XOOPS 2.2 was supposed to be released on June 30th (according to the Roadmap
but unfortunately, you will have to wait another week for that.
We are close to announcing the CVS Nightly to be ready for beta testing, but it will not be until this weekend that we will make that announcement.
Releasing a major change such as 2.2 with only a few days of beta testing would not be a responsible thing to do so therefore I am officially postponing the release until Sunday July 10th.
I hope you will like the changes and feel that they are worth the wait.
