Some XOOPS Documentation Available
Xoops.org recently recovered from a hackers attack to its server. Unfortunately the Documentation Site is still closed and documentation is still not available to the general user.
I have decided to host on My personal website some backup files that I had saved during the documentation editing process. This is only a small selection of the full documentation, but covers some of the essential reading and guides for Xoops CMS. We hope to restore the full documentation files as soon as possible.

This new site was put up in a hurry thanks to XOOPS and all the help from the xoops family. It is FILLED with art using My-Album-P. It's hard to tell that it's XOOPs! It's amazing what you can do!!!

describe your experiences with xoops and what you love most ...
this is a personal ask and request to all xoopswebmaster and xoopsfriends i learned the last years using xoops. This is what i want to archieve:
XOOPS factory webmasters ACT with XOOPS
the aim and goal is to have a database where non xoopser may look at some examples of xoops usage if xoops will fit the needs of their project and where xoopser may find interesting pages to get inspired. Xoops Sites can be introduced and news of xoops sites are published reported by the webmasters of xoops sites.
Xoops-Webmaster are invited to report:
- summary of content of their pages
- their experiences with xoops
- their thoughts about using xoops
- their site-news
- how they advertise their pages
- how they made their xoops unique
- how they get their modules customized
- at least .. what they did to get it work
as an additional there will be some news of xoops, projects and folks on xoopsfactory. If there were any questions to submit content, please read http://xoopsfactory.com/modules/information/how-to-submit-content.php

Security Hole in XOOPS 2.2 - hotfix available
We have been made aware of a grave unintended exploitability in XOOPS 2.2 that could reveal your database username and password.
Everybody using XOOPS 2.2, get this hotfix (.zip) | (.tar.gz)
and get it NOW. Upload the contents to your webserver, overwriting the existing files.
To translators: Note that the error message in the system module has changed.

This new version greatly reduce the number of sql queries and underline the keywords used in the Xoops search.

While the site is very plain looking, it is meant to look very utilitarian. The theme colours and idea were inspired by an army green gas can with the words "Flammable" spray painted on with a stencil.
And yes in Canada colour has a 'u' in it.
