Phase II Training Centers
We just finished another XOOPS driven site and are well pleased with the way it's turned out. We used the multi-theme hack to have the Flash stuff only show up on the front page. It also uses the piCal and the content modules and this was the first site that we created the theme from scratch using the Dreamweaver Xoops plugin, which was quite a nice tool.

New Xoops XK_Editor version
I've released a new version of the editor. Update packages for xoops 2.0.x and 2.2.x available here:

-Security fix according to Marijuana's report: /class/xoopseditor/koivi/dialogs.php
-Removed $_GET['url']
-Added check on $_GET['skin']
-Correction on including Xoops mainfile.php for dialogs.php;
-Added charset to dialogs.php output page;
-Removed unncessary functions for dialogs.php: getMainfile, getLanguage
-Added new function "Insert paragraph"
-Added buttons to change editor height on the fly.
-Now you can customize the editor area with css, "skins/SKIN_NAME/editor.css"
-Aded Flash support under Gecko browsers.
-Made some improvements on CSS files.
-Improved some rutines.
-Removed some redundant code.(lighter and quickie!)

-"Maximize editor" rewrited. Now it takes all avaible space and auto-fits when the browser window is resized.
-Solved bug, editor was losing text direction when changes from wyswiyg to html mode.
-Solved bug under iexplore when user edits a full html page. (Some events like context menu stopped)
-Solved bug under gecko taking body tag attributes.
-Added a workaround for iexplore (it ignored some tag attributes).
-Added a workaround for iexplore when submit the data and a metatag has the same name as the textarea.
-Now iexplore and gecko don't delete scripts.
-Now linebreaks are respected (improve come with javascript funcs). Make sure you disable Xoops convert linebreaks feature.

XSOTH - The VOTING for MONTH september is OPEN!
From today on, the XOOPS-Site-of-the-month SEPTEMBER VOTING is OPEN.
We changed some things in organization and we are sure that it is now a bit easier for YOU to take part and vote for your favourite site.
FIRST, we decided to open the voting form for all visitors, WITHOUT REGISTRATION. Most people do not like to register on every xoops site, so we will try it this way, but we will view at each submission. Please do not abuse this system and the way we want to handle it.

Side Bar for xcGal 2.0
What is it?
If you use Mozilla you would be familiar with sidebars if you are not and still use Mozilla then hit F9 and the side bar panel will open. This is a hack which will add another tab to this sidebar panel which will show you
1. The categories and albums of the given xcGal gallery in a tree structure.
2. It has a tiny search form which will allow you to search the gallery
3. It can show the thumbnail of last uploaded picture
It has user setable themes and also the user can set the number of thumbnails she wants to see... This is cookie based and does not take up any server resource. It works with Mozilla 1.0 (and all avian and canine variants), Konq 3.2, Opera6+ and Internet Explorer 5+
How do I install it on my server?
Presuming that you have a working XOOPS and xcGal module setup, Download the sidebar zip file, unzip the contents and just upload all of them in the same folder as your xcGal module files, thats it!!

Once you have uploaded all the files just point your browser at http://yourdomain.com/modules/xcGal/sidebarInstall.php and follow the instructions there. Or you can enable Install Side Bar block, that has all neccessary shortcuts for installation.

x22d::Default Theme Revised
Per a discussion and a request in a thread, I am officially releasing the theme used at MyWebResource
This theme is a revised version of the XOOPS 2.2.x Default theme, which is a revised version of the XDT theme by ralf57.
Thank you ralf57 for laying down such an excellent foundation for a default theme! The flexibility of this theme offers so many options for cutomization. With just a little imagination and time, you can easily tweak this theme for virtually any application. This theme can easily be made to work with XOOPS 2.0.x with very few modifications (frontside only).
The purpose behind this version is to address a few little issues with the XOOPS 2.2.x Default theme that prevented the theme from displaying consistantly and to enhance compatibility with 800x600dpi screens. There are also some little tweaks I've added to enhance the theme's appearance to better suite my tastes.
The theme itself is XHTML 1.0 Trasitional and CSS 2.0 Compliant; however, many modules will break this compliance.
Breif summary of changes:
