A new core development area for XOOPS
Skalpa has just announced the opening of our new core dev area
"I'm publicly opening the new (core) development site, which will become the one of only source of information about the XOOPS developement from now on.
It is far from being complete, but I believe this is the way things should be: give something to everybody even unfinished, then
build progressively.
The devlog will be updated daily as much as possible, and alpha releases will be published there too."

ElderHope Upgrades to 2.2.3 Final
ElderHope recently upgraded to 2.2.3 Final, having watched it's stability carfully for about six months. The upgrade went flawlessly.
Since January 2004, ElderHope has been running xoops. We are so pleased with the work that the devs have done in creating this software and making it freely available. It makes it possible to share helpful information globally. Since 1997, in one form or another, ElderHope has had a web presence. The purpose of the site is to offer support to those who are coping with aging, latter-year illness, grief, and loss. We are proud to recommend xoops.
Thanks to all the devs, past and present, who by their contributions to xoops in knowledge or money, have made it possible to give help and comfort to people around the globe. Many people, some of them without any significant support resources, have found care that they might otherwise never have received.

Presenting for all Xoops'ers review new site of distributors of F-Prot Antivirus products in Lithuania.Purpose: to present those simple yet effective products with the clean and clear web site.
Modules used: News, WF-Channel, MyPage, ~100 lines of custom PHP code. That's all.
Site design and functionality had to be within the general F-Prot guidelines - but the more original parts were heavilly influenced by Aston, 7dana themes... With the new sites promise a bit more of original design
SEO: very basic easy implement tricks found in xoops.org forums.

Release of WF-Download 3.0 RC 1 by the SmartFactory
The SmartFactory is proud to release version 3.0 RC1 of file management module : WF-Downloads 3.0 RC1 ! What is WF-Downloads? WF-Download is a file management tool with upload functionality. Based on the original Xoops download module and heavily modified by Catzwolf. It now features improvements from members of the SmartFactory team.

We did it again: MapJunction.org running on XOOPS
It started when we made a layout for our own website at http://www.softechmatrix.nl that was based on one of the great Imago Themes. We completely redesigned their template with a great result that we used for a year on our website (we have just switched to a NEW layout). Next we where contacted by people from http://www.MapJunction.org: they wanted to use our layout. Finally we ended up building their completely website (although they manage the content ) and completely customize the design to give their site a look of their own. We also designed their logo.We where already planning to release this particular layout to the Xoops community and I'm happy to say that the agreements made with MapJunction include provisions to release the layout to the community
