XOOPS 2.2.4 Patch released
The XOOPS development team is pleased to announce the availability of the XOOPS 2.2.4 Patch release. This is a maintenance release that fixes many bugs and features some security enhancements. Thus, is it HIGHLY recommended to every XOOPS 2.2.x user to upgrade to this version as soon as possible.

No one had noticed that, but Xoops project is 4 years old !
Like hsalazar two years ago, i wanted to do something a bit special for the occasion too,and have updated his timeline.
"So here it is. What is it? It's a XOOPS Timeline depicting (sort of) the main dates in the development of this amazing product."
--> A good way to make a flashback through our project.

Frozen Bubble version 1.3
Hello,
A new version of the Xoops game called Frozen Bubble was released.
This new version just corrects a bug in the high scores.
Download the module from its homepage and upgrade it to your website.
Nothing else was changed.

iSearch version 1.3
Hello,
A new version of the Xoops module called iSearch was released.
Here is the list of changes :
- The module now records visitors IPs (because of spamers), so the database was modified.
I have made a small upgrade script you can call here :

- You can prune keywords by IP
- A bug in the words deletion was corrected
- Your starting positions in the different lists visible in the admin are saved in session
- Visitors IP is now visible in the module's stat part
- All the modules sql queries were modified to run with old mysql versions (thanks jseymour for the tests)
- The blacklist's content is now sorted alphabetically
- You can use regular expressions in the blacklist
- I have added a new constant in the file /xoops/modules/isearch/language/yourlanguage/admin.php (_AM_ISEARCH_IP)

Spiritual Oneness
After over the last year or so, having so many problems with using to much of my servers resources and having to move servers a couple of times; I split my site in to 2.
So now all the information is in one place and all the forum, chat and things that are regularly used on another.
At some point I need to make the two sites one, yet for now it has to be this way; untill it is on a dedicated server of its own.

Snorrenclub goes Xoops
After using my small flatfile cms for over a year I convinced the "Europese Snorrenclub Antwerpen" to switch to Xoops. So, I made a new header, tweaked the css of the original theme (obscene) and thought them how to use Xoops...
(Snor is Dutch for Moustache - having a moustache is the necessary qualification for membership of the Moustache Club of Antwerp)

Shotokansite Goes XOOPS
Finaly after over a year of running Dragonfly CMS I was able to switch to XOOPS after seeing the xcGallery module released and testing it on the server and seeing how great it was.
I had originally passed over XOOPS reluctantly due to the lack of a good gallery module.
I had finally made the choice to shake things up at the site due to the fact that XOOPS really does have a better community with many more modules and more mature CMS code.
Not to mention great document management systems. And many of the modules I use thankfully have WYSIWYG and people really love that and GIJOE thanks to his great programming with the AutoLogin code everything is great.
I am currently using the latest:

Xpress

Old Baseball Theme for XOOPS!
XOOPS @ IBDeeming! announces the release of a great new theme! This was developed for a great little youth baseball club. The site itself will be simple on the surface, with lots of backoffice functionality.
This theme relies on a lot of old "Baseball and Apple Pie" type coloring. If you don't know what that is, primary colors - Red's, Blue's and Yellow's. The White's aren't really white - more of a Smoke White or Lace White. The graphic elements are mostly contained to the title bar, however a few get thrown in from time to time. The rest of the site is mostly CSS driven. My guess is 80/20...for what it's worth. The theme loads fast, and seems to handle all of the standard, and hacked, versions on mods I've tried.
Included is a blank logo.gif that you can modify for your site. Just edit in your favorite graphics package. Don't forget to check it out live at Olathe Youth Baseball, Inc.
