The Team CBB is proud to release the CBB 3.0 RC.
CBB 3.0 is a re-packaged version compatible with XOOPS 2.0*, 2.2* and 2.30.
Considering the new features and DB query optimization, it is highly recommended to upgrade your CBB 1.*.
New features introduced into CBB 3.0:
1 moderator accessible distributed batch threads/posts management (approval, edit, move, delete, merge, split)
2 moderator accessible distributed user/IP suspension management
3 trashcan implemented
4 posts search and management per user
5 plugable module bridging handler implemented

xoops -+site of the month january 2006+- is OPEN NOW
The first voting for this year is ready to start. Screens and voting form for month January 2006 are online and you can begin to review the nominated sites. From today on you have 3 weeks time until 23th february to choose your favourite and submit the voting form. I’m planning to restructure the voting organisation in the future to have different categories like eg. community sites - private and commercial sites as it is obvious that sites with a big community have more voices. This way, each category will have its own winner.
Dunno, when this could be realised, but it is planned as soon as possible.

Google Maps Module v0.3
Well after heaps of bug fixing (of which included v0.2) I believe I am now ready for V0.3. I have had a major tidy up and things should display a lot better and hopefully with no bugs this time.

ePhotoZ.com goes live using Xoops
Thank you Xoops team and those who contributed themes and modules. With your help, ePhotoZ.com went live a few days ago providing digital camera owners with photo enlargement services and prints up to 30x40.

Panther Software Publishing is pleased to announce the release of xAsset 0.86
xAsset enables webmasters to:
1. Sell digital media, such as software, mp3 media or pdf files. Webmasters can specify a product, which in turn can contain any number of files, all priced individually.
2. Sell group membership to premium areas of a Xoops website. xAsset supports this by joining a client to any Xoops user group specified by the sold product.
xAsset features:
1. Internationalisation by supporting configured multi currencies and taxes.
2. Secure downloading of digital assets by supporting file locations that reside outside of public_html folder. Download links cannot be directly linked and are only available to licensed users.
3. Plugin architecture for payment processors. Paypal payment gateway is provided by default with upcoming paid plugins coming shortly.
4. Ability to set membership duration times (3 month, 6 month etc) and the ability to track user expiry dates. An upcoming update will include extra notifications to warn expiring members automatically and “un-group” expired members.
5. Includes comprehensive 30 page help file (in the doc folder).

After a long time of being closed for reconstruction, I've finally found a bit of time to actually do the work. Now I'm happy to show everyone the result: http://www.herkocoomans.net.
This website is nothing special, it's my weblog and personal digital playground, sandbox, testing range and experiment.
The site is powered by XOOPS (of course), running on 2.2, with the excellent Wordpress 2 module, Liaise, WF-Channel and SmartPartner.

Get modules compatible with XOOPS 2.0, 2.2, 2.3
XOOPS is approaching a next generation of web CMS - XooSphere. During the procedure, we have a couple of intermediate releases, including XOOPS 2.013, 2.2*, 2.3 and so on. It is good for users to get know of some features they are expecting before the final XooSphere comes out, however, the modules for various release of XOOPS causes troubles to XOOPS users and module developers. Hereby we are doing our best to make a package of modules provided by xoopsforge.com compatible with all active XOOPS releases: XOOPS 2.013, XOOPS 2.2*, XOOPS 2.3
