Installation

1. Extract the contents of the archive to a temporary folder
2. Upload the cs-lite folder and all of its contents into the themes/ directory
3. Activate the theme in System Admin »» Preferences Main »» General Settings »» Default theme

Xoops and the Windows Package Manager
Our site has been up for a little while, but our project is just now getting stable enough to talk about it. The Windows Package Manager is an Open Source project to help people find, install, uninstall, and keep track of F/OSS software. XOOPS has been somewhat vital as the framework for the web side of the application. We have worked a database update tool into the XOOPS framework. This allows people to manage the software that's available in the program through the site. The XOOPS core has been invaluable in keeping everything orgranized and flowing, from the database to the development. This probably isn't the greatest looking XOOPS site, but it works, and it has yet to fail us. Thank you XOOPS, and all the really great community that stands behind it, we hope to somehow give something back.

Customize the startup module per group!
Typhon Solutions is proud to announce our first open-source module (and many more to come).
TS-MyStartup (http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/?ts-mystartup) is a great tool for a site manager who wants to automatically redirect specific group of users to specific modules.
As an example you can configure your site to do this:
- Start the Content module for Anonymous users
- Start the News module for Registered users
- Start the Forum module for your forumadmins
- etc...
This module is live and functionnal for one of our customer (Xoops 2.2.x) and it requires that you "hack" the include/checklogin.php page (it's one line of code).
A french translation is also available.

Another XOOPS site made
Here it is, my XOOPS made site, it's name in english means "time waste" and doesn't try to get out of the extraordinary and it has what most sites do nowadays.
It is build on so called instable XOOPS 2.2.4 and thank God I haven't enountered problems so far.
The modules installed are WF-Downloads twice as i needed a clone of it, smartsection twice for the same reason, Herve's great Frozzen Buble and Newbbex, xcgall, mylinks twice as the original module was turned into a flash games module, the news module with Smdcom's hack addition for the xoops.org alike block and few other modules that just made my day on found them :)
*the download section contains my contribution to XOOPS which is a xoops-translated category for romanian xoopsers containing two cores and several other modules
The theme is the default theme modifyed and patched with a hack for blocks found also on xoops.org's forum.

A security patch for XFSections module is available

The security hole was found in XFSection module.
V1.11 was released.
I recommend you to upgrade.

Xoops Importer Alpha Released
I am very proud to announce an Alpha release of my very first Xoops development and it is in fact my first effort at writing PHP!
I've been involved with Xoops for approaching two years and although I've built four sites and offer support in the forums when I can, my expertise seldom realms into development or anything like that. So I decided to embark on a project to force myself to learn how to write PHP as opposed to just being able to read (some) of it in the hope that I can contribute to the Xoops project too.
Xoops Importer is it! It is based on the original PHP script written by Christian of Xoops France (for which I give full credit for the original idea and a big chunk of the code although it's been heavily modified for Xoops Importer).
