I haven't been around much, but I decided recently to release a theme I did a while ago. It's based on the popular Half Life 2 game.

Xoops Importer Public Beta Released
I am pleased to announce the first public beta release of Xoops Importer! The initial alpha release was put out to the Xoops community on the 20th March 2006 (see announcement here) at which time I said I'd hope to get a beta release out soon. Well this is it :Xoops Importer Project Page - Public Beta 1
The change log and new PDF states the changes and provides some instructions on how to use it, along with any appropriate warnings.
As stated in the Alpha release, this is my first PHP and Xoops project so I need constructive criticism especially with regard to the coding. I'm enjoying learning but learn best from others.
Please download it, and even if you don't need to use it, take a look and tell me what you think. There's a sample input file provided for testing.

There are two primary goals for this:
1.Centralise location of all bug reports and feature requests and also keep track of completed and outstanding xAsset development tasks.
2.Establish a donation/bounty amount for feature requests. Various interested parties can then contribute towards implementing these features.

Often users who request features do not appreciate the level of development required to develop these. Development costs associated with these new features can be difficult for a single user to contribute towards.

I've just realeased the first version of my Icecast2 authentication module for Xoops over at the dev forge.
Authenticate listeners of your Icecast2 streams against your Xoops database.
Features:
o Allowed listenting Groups
o supports icecast2 timelimits
o Customisation of icecast headers
o A Block listing all known streams
o Should be able to it use with multiple icecast2 servers.
