Instant Zero is happy to release a new version of our web 2 Xoops module, UserPage.
This new version, still compatible with Php 4 & 5 and Mysql 4 & 5,
brings some bugs corrections in the module's administration and in the xoops_version.php file.
You can now use some new Smarty variables in the module's index page :
user_avatar, user_name, user_uname, user_email, user_url, user_from, user_sig
This version should runs with Xoops 2.0.x and Xoops 2.2.
We have also tested it with the latest RC of Xoops Cube.
Use this forum to get help
And you can use this page to download the module
To update the module, copy all the files to your webserver and update the module in
the Xoops modules manager.
Note : there were no changes in the translations

XOOPS Chat.com
XOOPS Chat.com is an ongoing experiment with XOOPS and the currently available chat modules.
I've played with a variety of the currently available XOOPS chat modules and have settled for a modified version of the Shoutbox module for the time being. I like the popup window feature.
XOOPS Chat is using a westernized version of Alburak's IServices theme.
Shortcomings:
1. No log files
2. No word censoring
3. No search capabilities
I'm currently tinkering with creating a morph of the Achat and shoutbox modules. The objective is to provide a censorable, searchable and serviceable chat system for XOOPS users to have realtime conversations, post questions and answers to other users, have some fun, and do some brainstorming.
In addition, I'm also testing some of XOOPS' calendar/scheduling modules so that users on the site can schedule chat times.
Comments, criticisms and kicks in the teeth are welcome. Please remember that this is all experimental.

PEP, Inc. total redesign
Hi all,
I have just re-written and converted my last??? 2.2.x XOOPS site to 2.0.16. I have also created a rather "odd? peculiar?" Theme layout for this using my wireframe 'technology'.
(I'm trying to test the format limits of this approach...)
As with all my latest sites, this site requires no registration to enter and use or access the materials.
The new site is at: http://pep-inc.com
The one technical item I struggled with had to do with a CSS wireframe where the Right-hand side needed a width control limit. I think I made it so it works fine (at least it does on my two browsers).
Please stop by for a visit, sign our Guest Map and let me know what bugs you find with the theme.

The 'Test Our Themes' function (left-side) will allow you to see the same site using 10 (as of this writing) variants of my wireframe theme ... some with Flash, yada, yada, yada

Emma Watson Online Re-Designed
Emma Watson Online, an Emma Watson fan site using XOOPS, has been re-designed in anticipation of its 10,000th (activated) member. Thanks in part to XOOPS' flexible theme system, we've been able to easily able to put the new theme in place.
In addition, the flexibility of XOOPS has allowed us to extensively make the site search engine friendly with SEO URLs and meta tags. And not only is it more search engine friendly, its also more user friendly as well.

Xoopstuner returns with a theme release!
After a long hiatus the xoopstuner has finally released another theme. This time it's a port of a http://www.OpenWebDesign.org template.
As always the theme is entirely free. Not even registration is required.

Per my earlier promise... I have made two variants of my wireframe theme for your use, improvement, etc.
These themes may be seen in operation at: http://eirenicon.org (select the try our themes option to see both XOOPS and XOOPSclan) So far as I know any current XOOPS module should work with these themes so long as the module works with 2.0.1x of XOOPS. They may work with the 2.2.x branch but I haven't tried or tested that. The themes also work in two or three column format (you choose the mix and match).
The downloads, along with usage instructions etc., are available in the Downloads area. I hope people find these helpful and useful.

to this new one.
