ACTD: USS Broadsword - A Trek RPG Group
The current form of Star Trek: A Call to Duty (ACTD) has evolved greatly since its original inception in 1995. Once a fledgling organization on a private online network known as vTrek, the only online role-playing game ever endorsed by Paramount Digital Entertainment is a large and diverse group with some 40 Vessels all spanning 3 styles of play ranging from real time Chat, PBeM and Newsgroup play.
ACTD now boasts over 300 members and ships in all three of the major gameplay styles, wrapped into an immersive game that many players (including players that are members in other online Trek RPGs) hail as The Best On The Net.

xf_hokamp_2007_blue
Here I am with a xoops theme version of my “xf_hokamp_2007_blue” which is made for xoops gte (>= greater than equal) 2.0.16, XHTML 1.0 Transitional and valid CSS.
It’s a “width:770px; centered layout” theme with a right siteblock only. XOOPS left and right blocks will appear in this sidebar when set active. To get a layout without a sidebar for eg. “edituser” or e.g a forum, just go to blockadmin and set no blocks active.

Within the download you will find sourceimages in fireworks png and the original graphic from openclipart.org that is used within the header.

Xmspotlight module with a better template
Xmspotlight module takes the chance to create a better and more professional home page looking for xoops sites. When I was modifying this small module to fit my needs, I discovered that I can make my site home page very flexible. You can see how it is HERE. With this module I can now show 1 or more spotlight news with picture, next to it wheather forecast.Under the wheather I'm showing foreign exchange rates. Under all of this 4 news categories with the latest 7 articles on them and next to it Google adsense advertisement. So with your imagination and html work you make better home page looking with this great and small module.

The module that I have modified based on Xmspotlight 1.02 beta2. I have modified the template file and some php files for better control on admin interface. You can add some more html content on the template and can see whatever you want on the center of you home page. So you don't have to use module center blocks for home page looking. If you are bored setting the block rough-and-tumble, you can show lots of content with one block on an home page.

That's it. On development but almost finished. XOOPS rock solid again, using latest (2.13) Smartsection, a Multimenu, Formulaire, TinyContent (GIJoe "clanable" modification) and Contact module combined with Security Image to avoid SPAM.
In fact, all info could have been managed with Smartsection and avoid TinyContent, but it's too late now for if to change. TinyContent + Dreamweaver is a good combination for corporate info.

Google Search
This module puts Google Search directly into your XOOPS website. Users can search either your site, or the web. You get super-fast detailed search results with no queries to your database, and your visitors never have to leave your site. This module also has one search block.
A nice feature of this module is how simple it is. Just install it, and it's ready to go.
Note: Your site MUST have been indexed by Google in order for this module to retrieve your site-specific results.
It is known to be stable on Xoops version 2.0.16, and hasn't been tested on any other versions. But since it's a very simple module, I would say it's probably fine on several recent versions as well.

It is known to be stable on Xoops version 2.0.16, and hasn't been tested on any other versions. But since it's a very simple module, I would say it's probably fine on several recent versions as well.
