ZZP Pool online with Xoops
ZZP Pool is a Dutch firm which brings building contractors and construction workers together.
My customer wanted to be able to change content and news, that's why I choose Xoops as the framework.
The site uses a self-made theme with the following modules:
- MultiMenu
- TinyContent
- TinyEditor
- News
- Liais

Easyhosting to consider withdrawal of support for Xoops
Following a hack on one of our websites, the site hosters have claimed that the hack occured because of insecurity in the Xoops systems.

Article Management System (AMS) development now continued by novasmart !
Good news for all AMS module user. AMS module development now officially will be taken over by NovaSmart. The development of AMS (by it-hq.org) stuck since 2005 (version 2.41) and the owner have no interest anymore to continue the development.
As AMS user i feel really sad to hear my favorite article module dieing, so I volunteer to take over AMS development and get the green light from the it-hq. However, it-hq only hand over the AMS development to me, but not it-hq.org domain. So, all development update, forum and bugs report will be done in other domain (will be announce later).
Instead of going to new feature, I'll come out with bug fixed release (version 2.42). All known bugs that reported at it-hq website (http://www.it-hq.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=166&forum=23) will be evaluate and solve in that release. There is no timeline yet, since I'll busy to setup website for AMS development for next few days, the release will be "very soon".
I hope all AMS user will support my effort.

PK Theme
PK theme originally was made with just 2 columns but as the width is not fixed, the 3rd column can easily be added (a 3 columns version will be added later today). It was made taking in consideration the 2 existing XOOPS branches and it can be used for any XOOPS version without the need of editing the theme document.

Acida Software Chooses for Xoops
A long time ago, another person posted a message about the Acida Software website, the old webmaster.
Since a month or something, I took over the Acida Software website, and I changed almost everything on the site so it could be used properly.
I setted up a new Xoops installation, and i'm using the theme vblue, the modules Mastop Publish, Liaise, MyDownloads and the News module.
The site is dutch and can be found on http://www.acida-software.com
We currently create only FREE software with NO spyware OR adware OR other unwanted additions.

Release of Mor.pho.GEN.e.sis - version 2.0
Xoops France and XooFoo.org are happy to bring you a new version of the theme template of Mor.pho.GEN.e.sis, validate W3C in XHTML 1.0 and CSS 1/2.
This project provided by many members of the Xoops community brings in its version 2.0 with important innovations.
Amongst the main ones we can mention:
- regrouping of the body of the structure in a div “xo-wrapper”.
- reorganisation of the structure of the header with the addition of a div “xo-top” which can be used for example to put fields of log-on, research fields on the site,
- language option of the site in the event of a multilingual site, marquee, breadcrumbs, etc… we know that you will be able to show imagination; the whole of the contents of the header is henceforth gathered in a div “xo-header”.
- possibility of personalising the templates "system_redirect.html" and "system_siteclosed.html" in the "override" of the theme for the module system. For this functionality, the amendment of the xoops core was necessary (files "common.php" and "functions.php" in the file "include").
- addition of "define" of language in files HTML of the theme, this will make it possible to carry out the translations of the themes easily and to homogenise the infos of those in the event of use of multi-themes. If you want to add or amend these "define", the amendments are to be brought in the file theme.php of the files of language to the root of your site (language/french/theme.php, language/english/theme.php, etc…).
- to begin the amendment from this theme to the standards of accessibility, we included a script allowing to amend the font-size. This script already was used by some designers of themes and was incorporated in the package "JsEffects" of Kris.
- the directory and files of the images and icons were reorganised for a facilitated re-use of these files.
