Thanks a lot for all the help i have received from the xoops community members. Its because of this great cms and the community that i have been able to create this site Making Destiny. Please review this site and let me know what else should i do to make it more useful for the visitors.
I m still looking for a video module that will play youtube as well as videos on my server, rest is almost final, so please let me know your views about the site.

In October there were four active members:

KPWS Provides free hosting for promising projects (site powered by XOOPS)
Starting from today, KPWS will provide free hosting to promising projects! If you own or are active in a project wich is non-commercial and free, and you want to get a host wich you can trust and who will host you for free, you are welcome with KPWS.
KPWS runs on Xoops, as its stability and community is something not many CMS's can offer! And also, this project has grown from the
question of XoopsGarage for a new host (also on this site!) (XoopsGarage chose another one ;)); so we created this project. At the moment, we are also looking for new projects we can host, and team members (no scripting expierience needed, the only requirement is that you know a bit about HTML, and are able to help us with providing technical support about how to build a website, you are welcome!).

KPWS runs on Xoops, as its stability and community is something not many CMS's can offer! And also, this project has grown from the

At the moment, we are also looking for new projects we can host, and team members (no scripting expierience needed, the only requirement is that you know a bit about HTML, and are able to help us with providing technical support about how to build a website, you are welcome!).

Xoops*Visit is a module that allows you to display a simple counter.Formerly under the name User * Count, it was simply known as a module name is already covered in the repository modules. Some change in its structure has been given for the arrival of the next version of this module.
He has for the moment two blocks:
* Block "collector" who takes care of counting all your visits, it is better to display it on all your pages to count all visits.
* Block "meter" that displays your meter and whose appearance is run in the module's preferences.

Classifieds Version 3 RC3
This will turn into 3.0 Final after any bugs are fixed and I clean up the code a little.
Due to Database changes you MUST Uninstall any previous version, before installing this one.
Future versions will have upgrade scripts if needed.
Features.
User Side
1. Xoops Notifications
Users can select to be notified if a listing is added in any category(whole module) or get notifications in just certain categories(category).
2. A Sorting System.
Users can sort the listings by date DESC, date ASC, price DESC, price ASC, title DESC, title ASC, hits DESC, hits ASC.
3. A Rating System.
Users can rate the user who is selling the product and also rate the product.
4. The Pictures are different too.
I have taken the guts from the Yogurt module and added them to this module. Now you can choose how many pictures users can upload and you can have different amounts for Premium and Non-Premium users.
The only thing, you can't add the pictures at the same time as the ad. I will probably change that in a future release.
5. Has a page for users to see all ads by 'this user'.
Users can see all the Ads by another user, and the owner of the ads can administer their Ads from that page.
6. Users can choose how to be contacted.
Users can select to be contacted by email, PM, telephone or any combination of those.
7. Users can print out the Ad.
8. Users can send an Ad to a friend.
Admin Side
1. Has Xoops Group Permissions, per category - per group.
2. Clonable.
There are only 6 steps to do manually and the module will be cloned, with no errors.
3. Many config items added change them in the modules preferences.
Installation
How to install
You will need to make the following folders writable(chmod 777) :
classifieds/photo
classifieds/photo/thumbs
classifieds/photo/resized
1. Unzip the file Classifieds_RC3.zip.
2. Upload the folder classifieds to your Xoops modules folder.
3. If you want to rename the module do it now, you can't change it after you install the module.
4. Go to Xoops Module Administration and install like normal.
5. Go to Ads Module administration and click on category maintenance, create your categories.
6. Go to Ads Module administration and click on Permissions and set up the following for each category.
A. View Ads Permissions - Select which groups can view Ads.
B. Ads Submit Permissions - Select which groups can submit Ads.
C. Ads Premium - Select which groups can set how long an ad will stay on the site until it is deleted. If they don't have permission it will default to whatever you set in the Ads Module preferences (default is 14 days).
7. Go to Ads Module administration and click on Preferences and set to your liking.
8. That should be it.

Module
Xoops*Hack is a module to fully manage Xoops hacks.
This module allow you to install, uninstall and configure
the whole of your hacks with only a few mouse clicks.
Features
No PHP programming skills required, Xoops*Hack is built do
make your life easier. The module contains several hacks :
- Hack*Admin - it's a complete modification of the administration
interface alike Joomla to make your backoffice user friendly
without break compatibility. You can also set a feed and show
it on control panel. Finally, show or hide warning messages.
And why not use it as a base to start built your own interface.
- Gest*Url - allow you to shorten URL too long from your installed
modules like forum, news, etc...
With Xoops*Hack, this small hack becomes configurable:
Length from which you start to shorten urls,
number of characters before and afterward and
even specify a character for the 'middle' replacement.
No more need to edit and hack your php files,
all that can be define from module preferences.

Requirements
This modules is only compatible with release 2.0.17 from xoops.org
And will not work on a web hosting with SAFE_MODE and without functions

Sybasefan.com, a full SEO hacked site
4 years ago, I had a willing to establish a site about Sybase ASE database, which would be a help and convenience to the Sybase DBAs and developers.
Today the willing comes to be true. Recently, I have spent about one month on buliding a new site--http://www.sybasefan.com.
Here are some characteristics:
--Designed by XOOPS 2.0.16;
--Modules: newbb, news, article, x_movie, smartsection, wfdownloads, planet;
--All the modules are hacked;
--SEO hacked. All URLs are rewrited to '.htm' likes;
Unlike the Oracle DBAs and developers, the Sybase DBAs and developers are not always luky enough to get the resources needed.
Hope the site would bring a change.
