New Community Initiatives
The XOOPS Foundation is very proud to announce the support of two very inspiring community initiatives: the recently opened XOOPSDOCS.org and the brand new XOOPSADDONS.org! XOOPS Addons
The XOOPS Addons Repository is a Community Powered Download site for all your XOOPS modules and themes. Its purpose is to present as many stable and high quality XOOPS addons available to the XOOPS Community as possible. The site currently has more then 400 themes and 400 modules for you to download! You can find the site at http://www.xoopsaddons.org.
XOOPSDOCS
The now opened XOOPSDOCS.org site will provide an up-to-date and user-friendly repository for sharing completed XOOPS documentation developed by community members. XOOPSDOCS will serve as a repository for finished works, providing an archive of all completed projects. It will also concentrates on downloadable versions of documentation that can be viewed off-line and included with the modules, themes and components they cover. The XOOPS Wiki is used as a community workplace to create new and update existing documentation.
Providing resources to community driven projects
As explained in the XOOPS Foundation Manifesto , the Foundation's purpose is to put its resources at the disposal of the Project and the Community in any projects that could benefit the world of XOOPS. The XOOPSDOCS team and the XOOPSADDONS teams have both sent the Foundation requests for support, accompanied by well documented proposals explaining their their objectives, their plans, the resources needed etc... After analyzing each of these requests, the Foundation has granted them its support by giving each of these projects a hosting account on its server as well as the use of the XOOPSADDONS.org and XOOPSDOCS.org domains. The XOOPS Foundation would like to wish the best of luck to the Community with these 2 projects!

Since the publish of the Project Council monthly report of October, the Project Technical Group had been working XOOPS server migration and site upgrade.

XOOPSdocs.org Launched
XOOPSdocs.org
has officially opened to the community as a companion site to XOOPSwiki
and filling another much-needed area for XOOPS support and growth.
The XOOPS Foundation is supporting this effort and the XOOPSdocs.org domain is being provided by them.
Previously, XOOPS documentation was housed at XOOPSdocs.net and maintained by Rowd. She has passed on her work to the Communications and Documentation Team, who has set about restructuring and completing this on-going task. All of the documents previously available have been copied to XOOPSdocs.org and all new works will be housed there.
The Library is being patterned after the work being done at XOOPSwiki - adopting the organization and support for multiple languages. The idea is to develop the documentation in the wiki in preparation for translating and publishing. XOOPSdocs will serve as an archive for finished documents.
Additional documents are being gathered and added to the library in an on-going effort to bring all of XOOPS' documentation to a central location and we welcome contributions from all XOOPS communities.
XOOPSdocs will provide both inline and downloadable versions in a variety of formats and translations and will share a common theme and navigation with the XOOPSfoundation.org and XOOPSaddons.org to provide an integrated experience for the community.
We welcome all of you to visit and assist in making XOOPS one of the premier CMS applications available.
Remember - documentation is something everyone can assist with. Without the assistance of Community members, we cannot provide the service that all the Community requires.

Smokeless community using Xoops
This is more for encouragement really, we've been using Xoops for many years. Since the 1.3x series, and in 2004 adopted the 2.x series. We use a handful of modules, CBB, shoutbox, news, gallery for xoops to name a few.
Xoops has always been a part of our site, since day 1. I love what you can do with it, so keep up the great work! It's served us well.

Round Tunalife theme
Hi, Dobepath ask me to make available the framework of Tunalife theme, instead I decided to make available the theme itself for downloading, bear in mind that I´m just an amateur and there is some templates modifications you have to perform in your own site, and if you want the theme as it is you can download from here: Round.zip
Modify as you please, for sure there is some extra files inside the zip I neglected to erase it, so do what ever you want with them, delete, keep it, reuse it, I base this theme in a free css theme, but I did work in the colors, graphics,some of the css, hope you like it.
Also sometimes there is a problem with the DNS at the servers where I host my site, so if you can not access Tunalife do not worry, the theme is available in another storage server.

This module is an advancement of the existing xoopspoll module.
Why a new poll module?
During the test of xoopspoll with the blind voting it was soon clear that the blind voting has to be implemented for each poll and not globally. In addition it was confusing, that many links and buttons will result in actions that the user may not allowed. This is when the user has already voted or has not the rights for that action.
Why a german name for the module?
Why not? This will differentiate this module from other polls modules.
What are the new features?
* Three different voting types
o Normal voting, preliminary and final result always visible
o Blind voting, preliminary and final result not visible
o Blind voting, preliminary result not visible and final result visible
* Only hyperlinks that result in an allowed action are visible
* Only buttons that result in an allowed action are visible
* Presentation of the block is changeable via CSS
o #pollheader (Question of the poll)
o .polleven (even rows of options)
o .pollodd (odd rows of options)
o .pollfooter (footer of the poll)
* Text changes in the Block
o When a poll is not over, the bottons and links to the current result are named "Current Standings"
o When a poll is over, the bottons and links to current result are named "Final Result"
* If the poll owner gets a mail at the end of the poll the final result is included in the mail.
* The generation of the poll owner after the end of the poll is done when the summaries of the polls are shown.
* Optional removal of polls at the end of the vote from the front block
* End time of poll can be shown in the front block
* When creating or editing polls, the title can be entered in a textarea
* When creating or editing polls, the description is no longer mandatory
* Reworking of the templates
