im so glade to announce you that http://www.fhhrl.org (Foundation For Human and Humanitarian Rights - Lebanon) is built with xoops.
Again xoops prove without any doubt that it can be the best solution for any kind of websites.
in this website i use :
- wfchannel 1.07 to create mission , objectives and most pages of the web
- xcgal (my favorite module
) is choosen to show the training pictures made by the foundation- my downloads : helped me to store different reports, themes,and campaings
- with contact i made a small application form to let pple sending their suggestions and comments to the foundation
- the latest news module has been choosen to wrote multiple articles and studies of the foundation
-my links shows some friends websites
and finaly the xtcal to show events dates in the foundation
regarding the theme : the original one was UltraViolet Purple V2 http://www.xoopsdesign.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=61 but for some necessities i changed colours, width, and bullets to be compatible with the official colours adopted by the foundation.
i accept all your comments and suggestions to make this website more professional and friendly use

5. changed some functions names so they are unique(prevents fatal error when certain modules are installed).
6. changed search.inc.php so include_once for functions.php is always found.
7. changed some template files.
8. Now admin gets an e-mail if there is an ad waiting to be moderated.
9. added 2 more category fields in the category creation.

Release of XOOPS 2.3 RC2
XOOPS 2.3, the best ever version of XOOPS, one of world's leading CMS solutions, is getting closer to a final release.
The XOOPS Development Team is pleased to announce the release of XOOPS 2.3.0 RC2.
The objective of XOOPS 2.3 is to merge the two existent branches of 2.0 and 2.2 and to build a bridge towards our next generation of system XOOPS 3.0.
We appreciate very much all your feedback and feature requests received after previous releases, and based on that this Release Candidate brings several major improvements:
- Extended Profile included
- Private Messages included
- Extended DHTML included as default
- Added EXM Admin GUI
We've also changed the module logo design to clearly show modules that are compatible with 2.3
We believe that with that XOOPS 2.3 is "feature ready" for the Final Release. We need only to get rid of all potential bugs, and we need your help in that!!!
With XOOPS 2.3 releases, users will be able to learn some of new features that will be available in XOOPS 3.0, while developers can understand better the direction of XOOPS development, and designers can learn what features will be supported in the future.
Both backward and forward compatibility will be guaranteed as much as possible. Modules written for 2.0.* and 2.2.* will work with 2.3; applications developed for 2.3 will be compatible with XOOPS 3.0 automatically.
Developers are encouraged to write their application modules on XOOPS 2.3 so they can incorporate some of the new features and ensure easy migration to XOOPS 3.0.
This RC2 is freezing the key features for this release and is focused only on bug fixing.
Please remember:
* This release is ONLY for testing! Do NOT use it on productions sites.
* If you're installing it over previous test installation, make a BACKUP first!
* Some hacks done for previous XOOPS versions might not work with this release: testing before installing is always a good choice

Acida Software uses XOOPS again for its site
After a few months of using Pluck, we needed a more powerfull website, with a nice download system, because our server couldn't hold all of the downloads, and Pluck doesn't has a downloadsystem at all. So we used Wordpress, while we were preparing our new website, which looks better then ever!

We are happy to announce you the release of a new version of our Xoops e-Commerce module, Olédrion.
This version contains some bugs corrections and the addition of 2 plugins.
The first for the Xoops RssFit module and the second for the Xoops Sitemap module.
Changelog :
- Bug correction in the PDF catalog
- Bug correction in the shipping's calculation (quantites was not used for shipping calculation)
- Bug correction in the cart/order tables (as a consequence, there was some bugs in the invoice and dashboard)
- Bugs corrections in the emails sent to the website and to the client after his/her order

Yogurt Social Network version 3.3 RC2
Updated version of Marcello Brandão's Yogurt, a simple Social Network for your XOOPS site.
Very recommended for communities sites.
It allows users to have a personal album of pictures, a personal album of videos from youtube, a audio album for mp3 files, a list of friends, a public wall for messages(scraps), to create communities (tribes), to adjust configs to set who can see what, it also allows admins to block users from using the site for a certain amount of time. The use of the module is very simple and the front end is clean and beatifull thanks to the lightbox2 feature and to jquery tabs.
