Nappy Kitchen encourages people of African descent to keep their hair napptural (in its natural state). We also welcome parents and guardians of children with hair of African descent. Nappy Kitchen is for people of all nationalities and ethnic groups who would like to learn more about nappy hair. The purpose of this site is to educate the planet about how to care for napptural hair (natural hair) of African descent at home.

Release Video Tube 1.7 RC1 Now Available
CVD announces the release of Video Tube v1.7 RC1 Release Candidate. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that field tested our beta releases. Your feedback has helped Video Tube become what it is today.
Video Tube is an XOOPS module providing the ability to search, embed and manage videos on your site. Search, preview and auto-fill submission offered for YouTube, DailyMotion, MetaCafe and blip.tv plus a manual submission form for all other video services that offer video embedding. The main video display screen offers 5 different layouts to select from. 15 display blocks are available including Most Viewed, Latest, Random and Featured (featured blocks allow you to define the specific videos to be displayed). Administration is made easy with features such as user defined Categories, an Approval All option for submissions and an option for allowing registered users to edit their own submissions. Video Tube supports XOOPS site search and comments are provided for each video. To promote visitor interaction a View By User display is provided that lists submissions and view statistics. Links on the View By User page take visitors to submitter's personal area of Video Tube. A Video Help page is available that walks visitors through each step of the video submission process along with screen shots. NOTE: Certain features require PHP5. If your site still uses PHP4 then these features will automatically be disabled.

Phoenix Theme (Wishtera v2)
In the first version of Wishtera some errors were left and some serious bugs ruined the theme, but I've solved these now... (some graphics of theme_zenlike were still left)
I've renamed the theme to Phoenix to show the difference, and soon I'll release a blue based- theme of Phoenix, called Lagoon...

xpetitions 1.01 Final
"XPETITIONS" is a module of multilangages petitions on lines developed for xoops v.2.0.x.
It enables you to manage as many petitions as you wish, extract the signatories by csv file, to decorate your forms of signature by controls captcha, etc.
Here is the second final and major version of xpetitions.
Module crosses a new stage by seeing its numbering settling 1.0x there. It marks a major and stable version.
This one was tested with Xoops 2.0.18 and Xoops 2.3.0.
Version 2.3 RC2 raised no error what allowed to cross this one in version 1.01.
I still thank all users for their feedbacks.

Article Management System (AMS) 2.51 Final Released !
* This release fixes security issue in AMS 2.50 Final *After 5 month of development, NovaSmart Technology proudly announce Article Management System (AMS) 2.51 Final to be released to the public.
AMS 2.51 main target is to incorporate all "must have" features for modern article management module without sacrificing performance.
Whats New In AMS 2.51 Final:
With this release, user will have new experience in submitting and editing articles with 3 best wysiwyg editors (FCK Editor, TinyMCE and Koivi) and built-in xoops editor. User also now have ability to choose whatever editor they like straight from the edit/compose form without admin intervention. For admin, they have full right to enable this feature and even to choose which editor they want to be available to user.
User also able to add new spotlight template painlessly, can attach template preview image and given access to the template variable manipulation through php script attached with the template. Simply put the template, template script, preview image accordingly and update/install the module, everything will be auto detect and setup accordingly.
Please note, AMS 2.51 Final now 100% compatible with XOOPS 2.3 and some graphic had been refreshed.
This release considered stable and ready for production site.
Fresh Installation
1) Just unzip package and copy to your xoops folder
2) Click administrator->system admin->modules
3) Click on AMS icon to install
How To Upgrade
1)click administrator->system admin->modules->AMS update (for XOOPS, it is box with green dot)
2)do that one more time (must): click administrator->system admin->modules->AMS update (for XOOPS, it is box with green dot)
3)go to administrator->AMS->preference. If you already have XOOPS EDITOR and phpp Framework, just press submit without changing anything (it is a MUST to update the database).
4)If you don't have XOOPS EDITOR please change this:
EDITOR : change to DHTML
EDITOR CHOICES : select DHTML only
ENABLE EDITOR CHOICE TO USER : No (just for to be safe. Not really needed)
Then press submit.
5) Clear your_xoops/cache, your_xoops/templates_c and your_xoops/xoops_data/caches (Xoops 2.3.x only)
What Is AMS
AMS is a highly modified version of the News 1.2 for Xoops, and adds a huge amount of features to give the webmasters a lot more control over their content while still maintaining an easy to understand and use interface. AMS is highly scalable, and is geared towards performance, and as such is well suited to large article repositories that attract high amounts of users.
