Nice Work!! I wonder what a WURLF Resource Database and templating will do with making portals with tools that we have built around each other...

Strange, i don't know why you'll get the message.. Are you sure the file xobile/plugins/news/language/english.inc.php is available?

Also wich PHP and XOOPS version are you using?

It is a great module. i tested it in my site it works perfectly, and easy to write plugins for modules. Thanks Dylian

To all developers
If you create a plugin for my module please send it to me (by pm or email), so i can deliver it with the next version of my module.

Thanks in advance, Dylian.

BTW And about the language problem i realy don't know what the problem is... its just a simple include so normally you'll only get the error message when the language file doesn't exist. (I'll recheck my code but i don't think i can fix this).

Nice module and thanks.
Can someone please come up with a plugin for newbb forum.
Posted: 2009/11/20 11:42 • Updated: 2009/11/20 11:42
A general forum plugin will be included in the next release (somewhere next week probably).

But as a temporary solution you can download THIS package, it contains a temporary plugin for newbb and wfdownloads.

And XOOPS Code converting will be added in next release. I'm stil testing it.

Hi Dylian,
I have installed but nothing is working apart from auto redirecting the site to the mobile version, other than that the newcbb plugin or wfdownloads. Everthing is just something written "our pages" and the menu of plugins but all of them are "white blank" what is the problem?
Posted: 2009/11/21 12:33 • Updated: 2009/11/21 12:33
Whoops, forgot to rename something . Updated the package with the corrected files, please try again .

Dylian.

BTW I didn't test those two plugins because i don't run newbb and wfdownloads on my website.

Which ones are the correct files? coz you have not provided new files meaning i will only update what i have and that's what is not working. I real need the newbb to work and i will be very glad.
Posted: 2009/11/21 12:56 • Updated: 2009/11/21 12:56
I UPDATED the existing package, so i replaced the original not working files with the (hopefully) working files.

Here's the link again: http://temp.dylian.eu/xobile_temporary_plugins.zip

Thanks for quick responce,
I have removed all the old files and installed fresh all the files but the result is same case, a blank white page on newbb. I think you can install newbb for trial sake and see where the problem is.
Posted: 2009/11/21 14:38 • Updated: 2009/11/21 14:38
I could, but i don't have enough time at the moment to work on this plugins because i'm renewing my website.

I'll check it out later. Maybe I could make time tomorrow.

UPDATE:
NewBB plugin checked and fixed, just updated the package again. (BTW It's working on my local server)

Are there any problems with the wfdownloads plugin?

by rendering stylsheet i meant. can not we style the content and put a nice theme for mobile. coz on mobile it seems very plain
Posted: 2009/11/22 3:16 • Updated: 2009/11/22 3:16
I'll add it to the request list of xoBile. But i't won't be in the next version (v1.1 [RTT). The next RTU version will have a function to do this (If i find out how to do it ). Ok, found it and it's very simple so next version will be stylable.

The SID version is now finished with the xoCode rendering (replacing at the moment) and styling capabilities (for xhtml/xhtml mobile compatible browsers).

i get a similar error. I only get the error with "danish" instead of "turkish".
When I go to the simulator: /modules/xobile/
i get the error message. but if i type in this: modules/xobile/index.php?mod=news
then i get the latest news. But why can't it select news automaticly?

edit:
I think it's something to do with the $_GET. What is suppose to set the $_GET['mod'] value ?
if i set $plugin = "news" in the index file I get det news om my phone.
Posted: 2009/11/22 16:48 • Updated: 2009/11/22 17:12
I have tried everything but nothing is working not even the Article.
Posted: 2009/11/22 16:53 • Updated: 2009/11/22 16:53
If $_GET['mod'] isn't set the index plugin will be loaded automaticly.
It's done by this piece of code (xobile/index.php).

if(!empty($_GET['mod'])){

$plugin preg_replace("/[^a-z0-9_\-]/i"""$_GET['mod']);
}else{

$plugin "index";
}

The index plugin is something like the XOOPS main menu, but then for the installed plugins.

And the module doesn't have a option to set a start plugin that's why it doesn't load the news plugin as default. (ADDED TO REQUESTS)

But about the problems you two have, is the index plugin uploaded?? (xobile/plugins/index/main.php).

Greets Dylian.

BTW, bumpeboy and ghostrunner, if the index plugin is uploaded and it still does't work please give me a url so i can see it myself? Or enable xoops debug and post the errors and query's it shows here)

Okay Dylian,
We will wait until when you have some quality time to fix it, anytime this week would be great. O-wise thanks for taking your precious time to come up with such a nice mod.

I have plenty of time to solve your problems this week. But if you want my help, I would like it if you answered my questions.

So here are my questions again:
1. Is the index plugin uploaded?
I'f the index plugin is uploaded and your problem stays:
2. Could you give me a url, so i can see the problem myself?
3. Could you turn on XOOPS debug and post the displayed errors and query's?

Thats all.

Greets Dylian.

1. The index plugin is uploaded.
2. My site is off at the moment but i will turn it on and give you the link if thats the last result.
3. I have just set the debug to inline mode and i am getting the errour below.

Quote:
Fatal error: Call to a member function set_br() on a non-object in /home/public_html/xoops/modules/xobile/plugins/newbb/main.php on line 48
None All Errors (1) Queries (13) Blocks (0) Extra (2) Timers(3)

Notice: Undefined variable: xoBile_link in file /modules/xobile/plugins/newbb/main.php line 48

on xobile/plugins/newbb/main.php in line 48 i have this

 $xoBile_text = new HAW_text($title"index.php?mod=newbb");

$xoBile_link->set_br(2);

$xoBile_page->add_link($xoBile_link);

Posted: 2009/11/22 21:15 • Updated: 2009/11/22 21:19
Above tells me you didn't update the newbb plugin, in the uploaded package those lines are:
$xoBile_link = new HAW_link($title"index.php?mod=newbb&page=read&id=".$row['post_id']);
$xoBile_link->set_br(2);
$xoBile_page->add_link($xoBile_link);

Please remove the old newbb plugin and upload the new one that (still is) inside THIS package.

I found the problem
My default language is Turkish, when i change this to English the error message is gone

so what i did is add a language file turkish.inc.php in the index plugin,

When will the RTT version released , il like the new design
