hi guys,
good work!
you can confirm, as by the changelog, that there won't be language changes in this release?
that way localized version will be faster to build.

Thanx
Ian

Hi,

Just installed the new files. Small problem. When I go to login to the site, it looks as though all is going well. I'm thanked for logging in an it takes me back to the sites front page, and I am not logged in.

Help, please!

@davidsless

I had the same problem and just figured it out.
this is what worked for me:

replace the file "XOOPS_ROOT/kernel/session.php" with the version from 2.0.18 and it should work...

hope it helps

Regarding this issue. I had the same problem. But, I also got a blank page when it was trying to log on.

I first tried clearing all the relevant files in the cache directory, then the templates_c directory. No go.

The next step, I tried replacing all files in the 2.0.18.1 RC with the 2.0.18 full version, step by step, starting the the class directory, then the include directory, and so on. As part of that process, I tried replacing the file noted in the previous comment, and it still did not properly initialize the session or log me in and I still had the blank page.

It was only when I replaced the /modules directory that it started the session, cleared the blank page and logged me in. I cannot say which file made the difference, but hopefully the comments made will highlight the necessity of investigating this further and point to some solutions.

Thanks for the updates and upgrades...

When I choose from administration spanish language no translation happen. Only partial translation. I'm using 2.0.18 language. Anyone has the same problem with other languages?

Forget it! Incomplete language pack!

Greetings
