My server upgraded their php from 4.3.9 to 4.3.10
and XOOPS doesn't work anything


it showed this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/catscity/public_html/kernel/config.php on line 222
Unknown Condition []: in file line


please please
what can i do now?
give me a solution.

Do a search on 'fatal error'. This is apparently happening all over the place, and requires your host to upgrade the 'Zendoptimizer' libraries, too. I've sent a message to mine, we'll see what they say.

In the meantime, I've posted a temporary 'please come back tomorrow' page. What a total bummer.

4.3.10. And all did not ended up with a solution in the thread.

there is XOOPS 2.07x for php 4.3.9 and below
and there is XOOPS 2.09 for for php 5

where is the XOOPS for php 4.3.10 ?

I think the issue is an outdated ZendOptimizer and PHP 4.3.10. ZO 2.5.7 fixes the problem and PHP 4.3.10 fixes the security threat. phpinfo your server and see what they have. They can quickly update the parts needed.

i do a search with google and it seems php 4.3.10 is the same version as php5.
anyway i install XOOPS 2.0.9 beta in my site for one month and dont have any problem works with all my modules ( i install about 35 module in my test site)
i recommended you to install XOOPS 2.0.9 beta but get a backup first.

@irmtfan: PHP5 is not the same as PHP 4.3.10, but they released a new update for PHP 5(.0.3) as well.

If anyone knows of a way for XOOPS to fix this, please let us know!

The answer was posted by DonXoop already in this thread.

Tell the hosting company to upgrade the Zend-optimizer to the latest version.

This fixes the problem that the upgrade to PHP 4.3.10 causes.
