Hello,
Anyone know of a good theme for a newspaper site?. I know there is teh exnews theme, but was wonderring if there is a better theme out there?.

You'll need to define what you mean by "better". The exnews theme looks like a very good starting point for a Newspapaer based site to me.

I guess I am looking for a theme that will let me post news with two columns. One that I can have a top story for each category with a small thumbnail image and a brief description and a read more link for the full story, and the remaining x-number of headlines for that category below. This may need some editing of the block/templates.. I don't know how I can do this..

That's not really to do with the theme, the theme is just the look of the site not the content, you should look at using a module like:

Zmagazine 1.0

Or

The spotlight module for use with wf-sections or news module

I read this post and that's so I decided to install the zmagazine module. But now I don't realize how to set it to post news with two columns. Can you help me?
