anyone having problems should look at a few things:

the respective css files linked to in your document. newbb_theme_hover.css etc. This is where the style of the dropdown is defined. ]

After some configuration i've made them look nice. Also there is a problem in the xmt theme because of the list item definitions. They must be commented out. (or maybe another solution is possible)

I have a fresh install of the newest xoops. I do not get the dropdown menu's with newbb2 (cbb) using any theme ( for example, xmt).

Any help?

Glad to help. I learned it myself the hard way and I'm glad to be able to pass it on.

OMG...what the hell?!?! LOL! That alone just made my site about 100 times more eye-appealing...damn man!

That, to date, is the best help/tip I've gotten in the forums. Why this isn't more defined in the FAQ is beyond me though...

Thanks a million!

Make sure you have <{$xoops_module_header}> in your theme.html. See this FAQ

I'm sorry if this topic has already been covered, but I've been searching for an answer for nearly a week now to no avail. It's probably extremely simple to achieve, but all I want to do is add the DHTML (or CSS) dropdown menus to CBB just like Xoops.org has done. It looks great, is fast, and is also user-friendly. I tried changing the menu setting via CBB Prefs to Hover, but it doesn't accomplish this. It atcually shows the entire menu contents turning the page into an ugly 'nothing-but-links' page.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
