I am wondering if anyone has ever developed a module that is for advertising only.

Something that allows them to purchase different packages, and have access to such features once payment is made.

I am thinking about the banner ads, and text links. I want the site to be as much hands off as possible so I can focus on advetising it myself.

If there is one out there please let me know, if not anyone interested in dev one?

I am already using that but I want more features, it looks like I will be hiring a programmer to customize this the way I want it.

i think you want a classified ads module, dont you?

so just search for the latest version.

no it not that,

what I want is a listing directory like MXdirectory but a few more features, like:

if you create groups in XOOPS the module will have different permissions on the submit

to explain it clear I would create a group called Gold Users and in the Module I would set the Gold Package to only allow Gold Users to be able to submit and no other category.

Then I would like to add Site Sponsor the feature of banner ads input on the submit form of mxdirectory so it all in one form.

Have you tried RW-Banner? There used to be a news post about its release, but it's no longer available (don't know why). But doing a search for it will result in a link to the website.

I'm successfully using it on a 2.0.16 site.
