#1 Posted on: 2004/3/14 20:50 Where to insert additional meta tags?
Which doc do you insert additional meta tags into? For example, I have a safe surf meta I want to use and I *think* I would put it into theme.html for my theme, but I am not sure. So far it's the only document where I see any meta tags at all. I haven't found any yet in the root files. Any help would be appreciated.

It can be done through the System Admin menu. Go into preferences then meta tags and footers.

#3 Posted on: 2004/3/14 21:41 Re: Where to insert additional meta tags?
I've seen that area, and have used it, but I want to insert a new meta tag that isn't listed in all those standard ones. Those are hard coded tags like keywords, description, robots, author, etc. I don't see a place to put completely new tags.

The tag I am talking about is a completely different tag so I think I need to insert into a page somewhere. I am just not sure where. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

If that's the case you should be able to just create them manually in your theme.html file shouldn't you?

That's where I put it but I wasn't sure whether that's the only place it needed to be. Thanks for the reply.

Sorry Maracas, I think I just got myself all confused as to what you were asking for some reason . I thought you were asking how you could do it using Xoops, but you just wanted to know hoe to do it.
