can't access admin.php

my problem is extremely simple..

i just can't access the log in page of admin that is admin.php

it always says ' you don't have permission to access this area'

any idea about that?!!

Most of the time it happens when you have updated to XOOPS 2.5.6, but your PHP version is older to than PHP 5.3.7

You can also try to go to Admin Maintenance and clear cache there, as well as the Sessions table.

there are no more files in admin maintenance, cleared session data from db..

same problem!

I upgraded my php to 5.5.13, and the problem still exist...

any other suggestion ..

in the Admin/Maintenance try following:

a) in the "Empty the sessions table" Select "Yes"

b) in the "Tables maintenance" select all tables, and select "Repair Table(s)"

and then click "Send"

and see if this helped...

Unfotunately, i cannot access admin area!
