This module is to keep track of your members' Birthdays. It can be also used to remember fallen soldiers, by showing the date of their passing.

You can use a WYSIWYG editor to make it even more attractive

It has now been updated to XOOPS 2.5.x Admin GUI and tested on XOOPS 2.5.5 RC and PHP 5.3.10

This strange folder seems to be just a place holder for the file, so we can change it to whatever. I'll look into making it normal

Birthday and Obituaries 2.3 RC are originally done by French (Only Herve files was clear) or Spanish developer, both modules requires new UTF-8 encoded language files. Both contains illegal symbols in the texts, instead of A (in US) is used А (in ES/FR/BG).

Can you fix that? Then we could update the files in SVN...

Can't search per position with Notepad +... will try with direct conversion, but probably after conversion will be required proof reading.

Can Birthday 2.6 be made to allow members to post / announce a family members or friends Birthday?

I know in Admin I can post a "Guest's" Birthday as in my Grand Child's.

As for Birthday 2.6 my changes are already incorporated into my version of the module. As I rebuild my 45+ websites with Xoops 2.5.5 I am incorporating my version of Birthday 2.6 into them.

FYI: I also tweaked Profile 1.63 which has a second step for local small business members; Fields: Business Name, Address, City, Zip Code, Phone #, License #, Certifications, About, Business URL.
