Hi,
There is some work to continue the way of Yogurt module or do you now about a similar and upgraded module? I think a powerfull social network module would be a great news to all Xoops users. It´s the only point where Xoops is outdated.

It's coming soon!

A brand new module by Culex called "SmallWorld". This is still work in progress, but you can start testing the existing code by downloading from here.

Please note: this is not even Beta yet, changes are very frequent, so don't even think about installing it on a production site.

Finally it seems that we realize the need to for such a module for Xoops. I think this type of module should be one of the forefront initiatives to try to complete. There were two other social like modules but have been abandoned. I am willing to test and give feedback on this mod.

The key is that all site content needs to be social in order to gain user base and increase site visitors in this day and age. Needless to say facebook has capitalized well on this area.

I hope this can reach production state in the near future.

I will test then have some feedback also.

We've always realized the need for a Social Network module!

The only issue was having a developer who would invest the time to make it happen!

Fortunately, Culex took on the challenge!

Now it's time for the whole community to support Culex and this module:

- please test, and provide feedback
- MOST IMPORTANT: please contribute to documentation! As you test and learn, please make notes trying to explain the module and its operations to somebody who has no clue.

I would love to see a "community support team" built around this module! It is too important for us to just let Culex struggle with it by himself! Also, please consider buying him a coffee! (There is a link for it in the Admin!)

Hi Culex, I has the same problem of Pmarket. The module don´t save profile registration to database. It does a loop and returns to the original form. I have tested it on Xoops 2.54 (english version) and Xoops 2.4.4 (spanish version).

Sounds strange...

I havent had any of these issues in my tests.

Looks like the $_post doesn't reach the target file somehow..

Try a refresh of the trunk. I did some changes and the changes back :-S

If you have protector installed maybe this is thinks submit is a threat somehow.

In protector settings
"Modules out of DoS/Crawler checker"

add |smallworld

If you like you can send me a link for the page and I could have a look
