News: image manager with thumbnailing

Many users of XOOPS search hack to make "Image manager" more useful, lot of them don't find good reason.

It's a list of very useful modyfications which i found on this forum:

1. Great integration with MyAlbum mod which make Image Manager very useful

2. Simply hach, which allow Image Manager to make thumbnails

3. Auto thumbnailing images from URL


In my opinion the first option is the best. If anyone has better modyfication put it on this post.

- how to auto thumbnail a linked image
and for the uploaded photo

have a look at bluemoon website (bluemoon+xoops as keywords in Google), you will find a hack for news1.44
with those features.

hmmm i wasn't really refering to news module.

I was thinking of an advance image manager for XOOPS that can be used in all modules installed

I tried installinghttp://www.peak.ne.jp/xoops/ myalbum-p integrated image manager but failed as there is lacked of instruction given.

yes, that is the second solution, if you are looking at a global solution
i thought you talked about News module, as stated in subject

heh my apologies for the mislead.

i was searching the xoops.org for similiar discussion and came cross this one. didn't realise the "news" was stated in the subject until you pointed it out
