Trouble trying to re-install News Module

I was trying to re-install the news module, but when I click submit, at the administrator page, it returns the following error:

"Installing News

Table 'xoops_stories' already exists

Unable to install news. Error(s):
Back to Module Administration page "

Can anyone give me a hand?

delete manually the table xoops_stories from you database by phpmyadmin or some else tools

I've done this, but it hasn't worked.

In addition to dropping xoops_stories table, you may have to remove the news entry from xoops_module table.
