ok if u can't find the update package..

unzip the contents to your hard drive..

then find mainfile.php and the folder /install

and delete them completely.. (don't worry they still in the zipped package) ;)

then upload the contents to your server.. that way you aren't uploading mainfile.php so it will not be overwritten on your server..

i dunno what your server is set like.. but if a file is set 444 on my server, it can't be edited or overwritten via ftp either..
