We have succeed in running XOOPS in InnoDB engine.

There is no problem migrating to InnoDB

Good luck

Seriously, xproject is PM module only for programmers/coders.

There is much sweeter PM/GW/Collaborative software - EGroupware.

Also seehttps://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=58577&forum=30&post_id=259756#forumpost259756

In Moscow Institute of Electronic Technic we already use EGW - and its best OpenSource PM/Collaborative project i ever seen.

We think about integration XOOPS into EGW, and in the middle of November we post here (xoops.org) detailed report about EGW and XOOPS <-> EGW Integration.

Best regards, Eugene Istomin.

script_fu,

It is my choice not to support a commercial project based on open source.

If they want to make money with XOOPS go for it. There is nothing wrong with it in alot of peoples eyes.

I think, you are in wrong way of thinking.
Quote: - means commercial support, not commercial product.

By the way, in GNU(2,3) commercial support and commercial product guarantees are allowed , and its normal practice.

>>what should be in the php.ini file

You talk about register_globals etc?

>>and where does it need to be placed

It depends on your hoster, try this:http://www.peterhost.ru/instr3_5.shtml

#!/home/http/cgi-php/php4 -c/home/user/php.ini

By integration i mean:

1) Xoops-> eGroupware authentication
2) Calendar->extCal event transparency
for ex(http://egroupware.outdoor-training.de/egroupware/calendar/index.php)

3) Ability eWGroupware's Sitemgr hook to XOOPS site
(http://egroupware.outdoor-training.de/egroupware/sitemgr/sitemgr-site/ )
4) Mediawiki knowlegebase integration

Hey, Fellows!

Good Groupware\Project Management OSS exist!

http://www.egroupware.org/

Demo -http://demo.egroupware.org/currentversion/login.php

eGroupware - really good PM, but needs XOOPS integration

It would be perfect to integrate this PM\GWI, but i'm not programmer

What do you think about egroupware?
Can anyone help with integration?

Eugene Istomin
