Re: When choosing Notifications I get "No valid security token found in session"

I get the same error when I click on the get new password link from the request lost password e-mail.

I am also running XOOPS 2.2.3a-final. This is a fresh install, not an upgrade.

Re: Quick Link/Button to Change AND Save User's Theme Settings

Thank you for your reply, jdseymour. I have already made those changes to my site, and yes, this does work.

What I am now looking for is something to place on my site, say in the right block, that shows all the available themes (which I already activated through blocks settings) AND will also allow users to click a button or a checkbox that will save the theme settings without making users go into their extended profile settings.

Quick Link/Button to Change AND Save User's Theme Settings

I am trying to place a radio button or check box on all pages of my site that when clicked will update the user's theme selection and save that update for the current and future sessions. Though it is possible for user to save their theme settings through the Edit Account screen, I would like to present my users with a more easily seen option for updating saving their theme settings.

XT-Temas, available at www.xoops.net.br did exactly what I am looking for - in XOOPS 2.0.x. Unfortunately, I cannot get XT-Temas to work with XOOPS 2.2.3a-final.

Does anyone know of a custom block or an updated module that will allow me to easily add a theme select and save function to all my pages?

Thank you for any suggestions you may have.

xcGal - Sorry but the server can't send your e-card

I am geting the following error messages from xcGal version 2.0:

Warning [PHP]: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in file L:\WebSite\.....\modules\xcgal\ecard.php line 89
Notice [PHP]: Undefined variable: xoopsConfig in file L:\WebSite\......\modules\xcgal\language\english\modinfo.php line 97.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled xcGallery. I even downloaded a fresh copy of the module (available at http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/showfiles.php?group_id=1264). This was happening under XOOPS 2.2.2; I just upgraded to 2.2.3a final, but this didn't help. I'm running Apache 2, Win2003, and MySQL 4.1.9.

Re: SMTP mail after upgrade

I just tried sending through Mercury32. I also completely disabled my firewall (ISA 2004(, but none of that worked. I installed PHP Mail class, but I couldn't get any messages that way, either.

Re: Fatal Error non-object in xcgal

Thank you very much for the suggestion, mcleines . This took care of the problem.

Unfortunately, I am now getting the error, "Sorry but the server can't send your e-card..." when I try to send an ecard. PHP Debug gives me the following information:

Warning [PHP]: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in file L:\WebSite\staffintranet\modules\xcgal\ecard.php line 89.

I think this is an SMTP problem and have posted a question regarding this isue at https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=40141&forum=20&post_id=181529#forumpost181529 .

Re: SMTP mail after upgrade

I have also had trouble with sending SMTP messages. I found this issue in two separate environments. In one, I upgraded from 2.0.10 all the way up through 2.2.2. The other is on a fresh install of 2.2.2. These are on two different servers in two different Windows 2003 domains. I am using Exchange server on one domain and SurgeMail on the other domain. I did not have any trouble with sending SMTP on XOOPS v. 2.0.10. I am running Apache 2.0 and MySQL 4.1.9. I first noticed this when trying to send ecards through xcgallery v. 2 available at http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/showfiles.php?group_id=1264

Fatal Error non-object in xcgal

I upgraded to XOOPS 2.2.2 and receive the following error when trying to view a picture through XcGallery.

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in L:\mysite\apache\www\intranet\header.php on line 33 .

Line 33 of the header.php file is:
$GLOBALS['xTheme']->checkCache();

I can view the main xcgallery page and an album, but I cannot view an individual picture. I have several other modules installed (xyp4all, xoopspoll, Site Stats, newbb,...) and they all work without any trouble. At one time I had Xt_Temas installed. I have removed and reinstalled this module a few times, but this has not helped.

I am running under Apache 2.0, PHP 4.3.4, and MySQL 4.1.9 on Windows Server 2003.
