Can't get FCKeditor installed! Please Help!

Hi,

I've been strugling for hours, and I just can not get FCKeditor installed.
First i've installed the module under /class/FCKeditor (as I saw somewhere on the forum.)
Then I installed to a directory called "FCKeditor" in the root of my website as in the FCK-wiki :http://wiki.fckeditor.net/Developer%27s_Guide/Installation

Nothing seems to work. I also do not see the module on the module page ( but then again, I wasn't supposed to install the module under the .../modules/ so that isn't a too big suprise as well!

How can things that look so simple suddenly become such a frustration "GRRRR!!$$¨***!!!")

I want to use the fck editor in articles and news ( other mods too if possible but these to are the most important ones)..soo: where and how do I install this mod ?

All the techno stuff I can give to you guys:

Windows XP Proffesional ps2

Server:
Operating system Linux
Apache version 1.3.36 (Unix)
PERL version 5.8.7
PHP version 5.0.4
MySQL version 4.1.21-standard

XOOPS 2.0.14
Midnightgreen skin
Module articles version 1.02
Module news version 1.44

Realy hope to get this going!

Being new on Xoops, I've just tried this out, and yes, in the main menu, the link articles changed to
"Tours & Safaris " as I wanted too.
But the heading of the block articles, stays articles.

Problem with Liaise download?

Hi,

I've tried to downloqd Liaise from several mirrorsites, and when I unzip the file, I do not get a folder ( lik with all the other modules I've got up till now) but an unknown file : type 23 file file ???
I've got no idea what this is and i do not dear to install it as Im affraid that there's a virus involved or something like that .

Some advise please ?

How can you change the caption in the Articles titlebar to another text ?

Some newbee questions on Search and Contact forms

Hi,

A few specific questions from a newbee where i can not find the answers to:

First of all, the Search function: is it normal that the Search function only finds words in the titles of articles and newsitems or should it also search the content in the the body of articles/news?

Contact Forms: is it possible to add a form at the end of every article in such a way that the information from this contactform (mailed or stored in a database) relates to the page where the form comes from:
(for instance if the article was a description of product ABC, the mail or record should show that it came from the product abc page )

And another one: Ive installed FCKeditor, and I would like to use it for my news and articles.
Altouch i've set the FCK Editor as user and admin editor in the preferences, I still get the default editor.
What to do about that ?

efqdirectory module

Hi,
Is anyone using the efqdirectory module?

I'm just testing it out and i've got it up to the point where i got a listing in a category. However,this listing just shows up as an article or a newstopic.

In other words, there is no connection between the address types area and the field types area and the actual listing.
If I'm not mistaking, there should be a listing search function on different criteria like address and other search fields or am I completely wrong now ?

I've searched this file several times but never with a capital R !!!!
While in my site I could see the the typo was written with a Capital!

How stupid can u be!
