Hi,

For one of my sites I'm still using XOOPS 1.3.X as I didn't succeed in upgrading to 2.0.X. (the installer freezed in the middle of it).

Nevertheless, the site is running smooth, but I want to add some features to it. Therefore I was looking for old modules for XOOPS 1.3.X. But... I can't find them anymore.

I'm sure I saw a section at the XOOPS site with older modules and hacks for 1.3.X, but it seems to be missing nowadays.

Does anyone know where I can find some older modules?

Regards,
Yero

No problem, look for the sections "ALL" and "Modules/Xoops1" HERE:http://xoops.softwarelivreparana.org.br/repositorio/

Xavier

I mean: import the wikipedia sql to XOOPS Brasil (wiwi mod). I done with this simple code, nothing more. Was simple, and can boost a lot your pagerank.

Thank you mikhail it was easier than I thought!

Great that you understood the logic of this code!! You dont need more than it to convert a CMS like phpnuke to xoops, without php. Another sample, to convert the XOOPS news to weblog mod (should work):

replace INTO
xoops_weblog
(blog_iduser_idcat_idcreatedtitlecontentstrackbacks)

SELECT storyiduidtopicidcreatedtitlehometextbodytext

FROM xoops_stories

And you can define a default value, like this 2 examples:

Quote:

xoops_weblog (blog_id, 1243, cat_id, created, "Xoops Rulez", contents, trackbacks)

so, the same value 1243 and XOOPS rulez for all lines.

Translation of document isn't important. I learned many 'programming technique' from the American book written in English.(we can buy American books in Amazon Japan.) but I can't read English.

We may not be able to talk and exchange a document, because many japanese aren't good at English. but, we can exchange 'proguram code'.

I agree, 100%. And i'm thinking about your post,... because many brazilians aren't good in English, and dont visit xoops.org. but the the people that work with tecnology needs to understand it.

'program code' is an excellent international language for us.

is true? exist a language called 'program code'?

Quote:

that is better than Esperanto.

And I think "Interlingua" better than esperanto,
much more "natural" and impartial...

I dont know, but esperanto looks like français...
not easy to be lerned....

Idea: create a forum called "Sorry for my poor english".

I will take this space to make comments about the new XOOPS Brasil release.

1. yes, the new xbr have 106.831 files now, 700mb in fat32. And is XOOPS pure, without the server files. Now I need space to put apache and mysql.

2. The Quran module (ÃÕÍÇÈ ÇáÌäÉ) have a file in wave more than 2mb, and a name that... I dont understand. Im hacking this module, converting the wav to the best version of ogg vorbis aotuv 0.4, and I will ask the permission to chance the name of this module.

3. The ephemerids module have a file ephemerids_data.sql with more than 10MB. Well... I will hackit, using a ZIP class. But... Im in love with 7z, after run it im my linux box.

4. The module myaddress have a file KEN_ALL.CSV with more than 14mb. Pendent, I dont know what is.

And this is just to start...
