Hmmm that might have happened when you removed the image_border. You should put that back and verify your sql database has that field. If not you will need to add it. The SQL file that comes with the module will tell you where it should go.

You need to enable debugging from your preferences and choose inline debugging. It will be at the bottom of the page.

Hi GG-Xtreme,

I updated the module and put it on my site www.optikool.com. The update fixes the Submission form and also the parsing of YouTube Videos. Let me know if it doesn't work for you. Also can you post the fix you did for the size limit. I could figure it out myself but if you already have it, there's no need to reinvent the wheel. :)

Hi GG-Xtreme,

It's possible YouTube changed their format. I will need to try the link you are using. Have you tried the just inserting the embed code.....

I will revisit the code and see about changing how the options are displayed. The options that let you decide how to add your videos don't show correctly. This is from the previous version. I will change it.

Can you enable the debugging on you website and try to add the category again. Look at the sql error in red and paste the error message.

Hi Cyborjeff,

Sorry you wasn't able to visit the link I gave you. Did you try going to the main website, www.optikool.com? I had since changed the link while experimenting with the ability to change the folder name of the module. The only error that I know of at this time is the full image view when you click on the Album Image. I also didn't see any of the bugs you said you posted. Can you give me the link to the forum where you posted the bugs you found? When I first worked on this module I found a bug in almost every part of the module, but they've been fixed and I haven't heard of any new ones, not including the one mentioned above, but if you have some please let me know.

If you tried to upload a file that was to large, you would get an error, so wouldn't see the video displayed. I'm don't understand what you mean by 2048. Default size limit would not be 2048K... that's only two megs. And if you are trying to upload 2048mb's... that would also be 2 gig which nobody would want to play. On the main menu you should see Max Upload Size Permitted: and Max Post Size Permitted: which tells you you're limit on uploads. x_movies is set to not exceed the limit set in php.ini. If you have access to the shell you can run the command...

find / -name php.ini in the shell and as long as you have the access rights to run find it will print out a list of all the php.ini file locations on your server.

1dell,

If you created the flash video and you have the fla's located on another server, you need to give your swf file a link for the path, otherwise it will look in the same directory as the swf file by default.

Not sure why your avi file didn't play unless your browser didn't have the plugin. As for youtube I'm not sure why that didn't work either. As long as your browser can play shockwave flash videos it should work.
