Hi,

If you have a look at this page on my test site:

http://elephantcoasttourism.com/web/modules/articles/

you will see that the font under the members listing is so small that it's hard to read. I've bee searching where to change this font-size but i can't figure it out.

The "members" are in fact article (version 1.02) items and the theme is "exnews"

Txs for any advise

Edwin

Hi,

Before I install the newBB 2 module, can anyone explain me what is meant by this help text in the module (Documentation XOOPS : Module Newbb 2.x )

Quote:
Module installation: download the module , but also the language file and the associated pictures
verify that your module folder don't have yet a newbb subfolder. (delete the folder newbb in this case)
decompress the archive contents in the modules folder of your site.
IMPERATIVE : replace your file /modules/system/admin/modulesadmin/main.php by this one : Correction for blocks update
modify your theme.html file and add just before the head tag : <{$xoops_module_header}>
install the module

first of all: which file (in the part that says : file/modules/system/....)
and secondly, if I click the "replace by this one" link , I get a page with a lot of stuff but nothing refers to what exactly i need to download.

Txs for any advise

Edwin

No No SevenD... I certainely do not mean that 7Dana -soft IS a catastrofe!

I only tought I caused a catastrofe in my site with changing the theme.html.

But as you saw yourselve , Ive fixed it already.
When changing the theme.html, while FTP -ing it, a part of the file got lost and so did my webpage

FTP-ed the original theme.html, fixed the problem.
Now just some adjusments and all's ok!

Txs for your reaction.

7-dada is 100%... It's just me who messes up regulary !

The same probleme occurred, so I changed the link in in the .../themes/7dana-soft/theme.html again.
Then I deleted the files in the template_c folder and refreshed the cache of my browser...
And now the whole body of my website is gone !!!! Just the header is still there!

http://www.elephantcoasttourism.com/web/

I can not even go into admin anymore because the login module is also not visible anymore.

Again some help please ?????

BTW... is it for other people also a mission to get some control over XOOPS or am I just 'to light ' for this one

Thanks

Edwin

I have a problem with the "insert image" function in C-JAY Content WYSIWYG Editor.
Altough the pictures are uploaded with the filemanager of C-jay to :
root/modules/cjaycontent/images/ (and they are uploaded !)
If i click the image button, I get a Internet Explorer Script Error :

line: 92
Char: 2
error: object expected
code: 0
url:http://elephantcoasttourism.com/web/modules/cjaycontent/admin/editor2/dialogs/img_library.php?lang=eng&theme=default

If i continue the script, I get the "Insert Image " web page dialog screen, but the library in this screen does not show the pictures.

After experiencing this I enabled the debug and these are the results when I start the WYSIWYG Editor:

Hi Jordi,

FINALLY (!!!) a simple and clear explaination which made me see that there was something wrong with my download because I didn't have the system_imagemanager.html file.

Downloaded other version
Followed your explaination
10 minutes : over an out!

And then to know that i've been strugling for hours (if not more than a full day !!!!!)

Someone should put your explaination into the Q&A or documentation because this is by far the best of what I've found on this topic up till now ( and I sure did some searching on it ! )

Thanks a mill!

Edwin

I can not believe it !
I haven't got any experience with these type of cms up till now, but I got XOOPS up and running like I've been doing this for years... Same with different modules...

BUT I CAN NOT GET ONE WYSIWYG INSTALLED PROPERLY!!!!!!!!!and I get soo frustrated of this!

Can someone PLEASE explaine me step by step what to do (I'm trying XK Editor (Koivi) now) or tell me where I can find a step by step explaination????
Somewhere on the line I must be doing something wrong and I'm getting stuck after all the hours ( days) I've spend on my site.

I would really appreciate it!
Txs upfront!

Hi,
Im trying the 7dana-soft theme on my newbee testsitehttp://elephantcoasttourism.com/web/modules/articles/
and it looks great, but i've got a problem with the horizontal menu in the header of the theme.

I've tryed to change the link from the "CONTACT" button to my default liaise form which you find under
.../modules/liaise/

in the .../themes/7dana-soft/theme.html I've changed the following :

Quote:
<td id="headmenu"><a onmouseover=showit(7) class="menuHead" href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/contact/">CONTACT</a></td>

into

Quote:
<td id="headmenu"><a onmouseover=showit(7) class="menuHead" href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/liaise/">CONTACT</a></td>
,

but this doesn't change a thing.

Am I doing something wrong ?

Txs for any advise ,

Edwin
