WF-Downloads doesnt support PHP5
PD-Downloads 1.0 too

Year and half ago, wf-projects have developers, which was working on their projects, currently wf-projects are ghosts, there is no support, no maintenance, anything latest bugfix release of wf-downloads prove my words. So I will recommend u to use patched WF-Downloads from Mithrandir (Ian Pederson) Packs for XOOPS 2.2, Download Community Pack and u're in.

Krobi (or Kr...something) PD-Downloads is not very bad fork of Catzwolf Downloads 2.2 Pro BETA Forever, and u can check it also from www.power-dreams.com.

I'm currently using Mithrandir WF-Downloads on www.xoopsbg.org without any problems. So I suggest u to get it and install it.

Probably u can use and Catzwolf Downloads 2.2 Beta from XOOPS CVS, but this module novadays looks more than earlie alpha instead of BETA which pretend to be.

If u're using Mith's XOOPS 2.2.2 or 2.2.3RC, Snapshots u have to choose from the following modules to maintain downloads section:

1. Mith's WF-Downloads
2. MyDownloads 1.10 from XOOPS 2.0.13.1
3. WMP Downloads 1.1
4. PD-Downloads 1.2

The following modules are no longer supported by XOOPS 2.0/2.2

1. GS Downloads
2. Downloads SE
3. Downloads Pro (French release only)

As I can see from posts and my local installation, XOOPS 2.2.3 SNAP-2 looks more stable than the previously released final ...., but again gzip compression not work. What was changed since 2.0.13.1 to 2.1.0 and where this option goes

Previous my post for PDDownloads 1.2 compatibility for XOOPS 2.2 is partialy wrong.

Yeah, the module works without troubles such the presented one in PD Downloads 1.0 with reseting database after changing/deleting one category, but:

PDD 1.2, doesnt include the whole code pack (Upgrade and Import script is missing) - not a big minus

More than 10 nasty bugs was reported, and the main submiter (probably not the developer), posts empty post as solution for this problems.

PD-Downloads 1.0 was a cool and stable module, which a lot of fixes and additions to WF-Downloads 2.0.5a, now it looks to me like bunch of scrap, eg. I removing it from my XOOPS compatible list

(Nothing personal Krobi, and this is not the beginign of FLAME (i think that was the word), but u have to take the response and to answer if u can, otherwise... u know what to do)

Krobi if u think I'm blind, or dump, take a look on your smarty download, there is missing code files (forget about the docs).

I have to wait for WF-Downloads Next Generation....

I dont care about officialization, gtlt will continue to bring more translations (unicoded) to XOOPS community, and XOOPS Bulgaria will maintain support of Bulgarian XOOPERS. This module works (but is not 100% compatible with XOOPS 2.2), the new callendar used in XOOPS 2.2 is not for this modul.

When u post a poll with ending date after two months, u can see Poll question will end on: (and no date)

PD-Downloads 1.2 Beta pretends to be X 2.2 compatible, but I'm not sure

I contacted "Herko" and still doesnt have reply, how much time takes this procedure to be approved or declined as officialized site ?

Or all open tasks such as XOOPS, Fusion 6 will remain Un(Official) Support site ?

This things in Mambo(simply) are the only one simplicity, someone which gives translation first, and help at least on one Mambo user on his page is accepted as Officialized local support.

Unofficialy, my team released 3 unofficial translations for XOOPS, used from XOOPS community, downloads counts every day. Spanish without cooperation with the current "officialized" site, only one member from esxoops helps Jose Moya.

Second Gujarati, created by Ankit Patel, he dont care will be officialized or not by XOOPS community, cos XOOPS is used only by him, and this translation was not be created on request, it was a contribution.

Third and not last is Bulgarian

Next on, French (without help from the officialized, hmmm why again) and Bangladesh (Indians again).

So whatever u decide here, approved or rejected, on my page will stay this slogan: Bulgarian Local Support Site (of course in Bulgarian).

Readed and partialy accepted, some questions about this Liasion Team, WOX Newsletter and few other localized sites are posted.

In addition to this local support sites:

Compare SMD (Malaysia Support site) with Russians, Spanish and Mexico and u will see the difference that I'm talking about in my mail. All modules released by SMD is not ONLY in Maylasian language. Thanks for your work on XM-Memberstats 2.1.

How one site become officialized by XOOPS Community, what have to be added such as content, exept localization for all XOOPS versions and 3rd party modules.

More than six months XOOPSBG.ORG maintained by ep98 - Stefan Ilivanov, currently I'm in charge for both sites XOOPS Translations and XOOPS Bulgarian (Un)Oficial support site. And there are few Bulgarian users which prefer to use XOOPS instead of Nuke(Damn it) or Mambo (FreeBSD is more simple than this CMS).

I think if this site is officialized as XOOPS local support site for Bulgarian, more ppl will switch at least from damned nuke to XOOPS.

Steve currently only present on both projects as my personal support. I dont care what was going wrong between him and XOOPS community, everytime when I got free time, I make fixes to the existing ones and adding new translations, CBB 1.14 (partialy) was the last, partialy, cos the Administration part is very big for a single man with not alot of free time to complete it. One day will be completed for sure, but when ... dont know.

The questions are:

1. What exept latest news have to be translated and posted to local officialized support site.
2. What exept the core releases fo xOOPS 1.3, 2.0.13 and 2.2.1 have to be translated.
3. May I use a custom logo, or to use XOOPS with something such the current one -http://xoopsbg.org
4. What are the requirements at all... (currently I'm very tired to remind myself what was the other questions... some of u knows wtf means computer technician in Piracy Cyber Caffe in Post Communist countries - Serbia, Bulgaristan (my lovely), Russians, Romanians etc. etc.

Install XOOPS 2.2, WF-Downloads 2.0.5a
Create two main categorys
2 sub in this main cats
then 10 in first sub of first main
and 11 in the second sub of second main

than go to Category managment and remove the last 11 category, u will be very nicely supprized by reseting the tables, everything will be erased immediately.

So working module, means really working
