Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advanced.

It is/was a bug, I fixed it 1/2 weeks ago but the current svn version only works with XOOPS 2.5.2(not released yet). If you are ok with svn, you can extract the revision before I added "onCache" support.

I assume you have tortoise SVN and a publisher folder mirroring to xuups google code repository.

Right click on publisher folder and in TortoiseSVN submenu choose "Update to revision". On the update box click on "show log". When the log pops up, select the revision before "onCache" support.

Your publisher folder should then update to the working revision. You can then use TortoiseSvn checkout and upload the generated folder to your live server.

Chefry, last version of publisher(SVN) only works on XOOPS 2.5.2

You should revert publisher and wait for next XOOPS release.

Technically XE is not even a fork of Xoops.

The legacy code, copyrighted by XOOPS can be considered a fork. Not the engine, as it was never released as XOOPS property.

... why ?

It would be very important if one or two futur members of the Council will able two follow "X3" developments. What we need is PEACE :)

Or 5 or 7, that is not the issue. I will follow X3 as I follow any other CMS.
Xoops Council can't allow X3 to use XOOPS resources, that is what not supporting means.

I came in peace.

Come on Kris, it was the XOOPS Council who decided not to support the development of XOOPS Engine and that happened because XOOPS Engine developers decided not to support XOOPS. XOOPS Council will never support FORKS. XOOPS Council does represent XOOPS interests.

Thanks!

Added tcpdf(latest version) into xmf libraries folder. Publisher is now using Xmf_Pdf.

Would be nice to see you guys maybe combine the two projects and make a really nice module framework. We need a good powerful one included with the core.

Hi all.

I have just upload to XOOPS SVN the Xoops Module Framework I have been working on and a "publisher" branch powered by it.

I'll be working on both of them for the next couple of weeks and I hope you can take a look at them and jump right in on development.

In this branch of publisher I removed several classes and re factored the admin layout.
For the index page, the layout is identical to modulesclasses. For the about page, the layout is a bit of moduleclasses and a bit of the old one provided by smartfactory.

The moduleclasses are integrated on XMF with small changes on the api, they make use of templates so they can be easily updated by theme designers. The moduleclasses code was decoupled into several classes, my idea is to be able to reuse this classes outside the admin pages (infoboxes could be used on user side). It is not a finished work tough.

XMF has a lot of extra classes that I'll be removing. I'll be dropping object handler, object forms, forms, criteria and other classes that are replacing core functionality instead of extending it.

Next step will be moving tcpdf from publisher to xmf and create a class for interface.

I'll keep this thread updated.
