Yes this is fmcontent module. I needed add new options in news module for one old website whit more than 70000 news and some other new websites. I try update news module and add some needed options but I see news module stauncher is to old and it hard for work. I change fmcontent name to news for juts my projects and I want add all of important news options on this module for myself.

I do not recommend to any person to use this module as stable module. It's just personal project for our customers websites. but if other people interested to development this module we can ready this module for xoops users and we will add update script for old news versions

Hi all

I made new cloned module from fmcontent whit some change and this module name is news and all URL is same news module. but DB table name is different and this moment I don't have any import script

I hope some person can help in test / debug and developemt.

I need this options and this name for some project.

I hope we can have some module design tools, all of xoops modules use same method in some parts. we can have some class in core for use in all of the modules. some of sample class like :

URL
Item ( some option for manage item page )
list ( list of items )
upload ( upload file - resize image and more )
and ...

Hello

what is your local system Java version and local system OS?
It possible for you test it whit other computer?

I test whit windows 7 and Java x and in Linux whit last Java version and I don't have problem.

all xoops modules ( in 4 or 5 years ago ) have same structure. lock at to extgallery since 5 years ago or tdmdoanload and more. all of them have same structure.

But news module have different structure. All of new xoops modules whit some changes will be update for version 2.6 but news need rewrite.

I can start this project for news. and fmcontent have good base for it. and we can improve module admin class ( add some ajax options )

We must keep all news module features but we can new options and new gui.

For do it we must have team for work on modules

Hi all

if you check XOOPS 2.6 SVN version. you see some codes changes and we have to rewrite new modules.

News
For news module I suggestion rename fmcontent module to news and add all missing options to module

Gallery
Update and rename extgallery to gallery

Download
rename tdmdownload to download.

some times Apache mod security find problem in one file and close it . I think your problem is same.

for test you or your serve admin must disable mod security for your account for some minute and you can test it
