I have forums module installed. All seems tickity boo to add new messages but when I click on them to display I get a blank white page with nothing on it. Checked all the docs etc.

Anybody seen anything similar?

did u dump it as a cvs file or xml??

u need to dump it just as structure and data, also is an idea to use drop tables aswell..

in phpmyadmin this is done easily with tick boxex blah blah blah..

just save it as a text file (uncompressed)

if it saves it as .txt then then u just have to rename it to .sql (this will only work for txt files tho renaming a CVS or XML format will not work!!)

i dunno how to set it so it's flat as default for everybody, but if u want to set it to default for just yourself, then edit ur account and then select flat in the option provided...

currently nowhere. i lost the files on localhost server :(

Where do you get XFSections? I did a google search and nothing came up. I'm not impressed with the built in (core) sections module as it doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of XOOPS 2 (i.e no ability to manipulate placement and doesn't tie in with themes). I'd like to give some of these others you have mentioned a look.

Nice display, [list articles] in review doesn't seem to work, but I like the overall display of categories/ articles.

the user avatars aren't working properly..

it doesn't matter what size i set the limit to in admin user settings, the user can still upload any size image..

ie.. i've set a max avatar size of 100 width and 100 height and a max file size of 25000 bytes but users are still able to upload images larger than these dimensions..
