Re: Stories on front page will not display

Are the stories "Publish in Home"?

Otherwise, I think that they will only be displayed if you select the category.

Hi Jujuboy, and welcome to the forum! Sorry we missed your post earlier

I have been able to make simple html posts in evennews, though I think its main purpose is for text. Another thing is that some e-mail clients won't display correctly. You may have to experiment a bit to see what works.

This is not a very definitive answer, I know, but I just wanted to acknowledge you post and welcome you to XOOPS community. Maybe someone else will add a comment 2nd time round?

Richard

Re: mainfile.php

Is the mainfile.php CHMOD'ed to 777 prior to the installation?

Hi krobi

Just to let you know that I have finally figured out what you mean by all of this, and yes your dreams can be realised now with WF-Sections.

Each sub section can be displayed under each section with no problem and they way you want it as well.

It appears they are planning to integrate a module into the next version of xoops- see RC3 modules list. For now you can download the module from myxoops.org.
Enjoy

Yeah, I do use that, thanks...but some people don't realise. Could just be done with it and have a static "Home" link that does show on even the main page, but I was trying to be clever.

Anyone else?

Phil

Hi Phil

Not exactly what you are asking for .... however the top panel has a logo image to the left, with an existing link to home. Any way you could utilise this?

A case in www.xoopscube.jp:

When an admin using Norton Internet Security installed myAblum-P, he got DB errors with INSERT.

After he had uninstalled and re-installed it, his myAlbum-P has been running rightly.

Though I don't know tom uses Norton or not,
Uninstall & reinstall the module is an efficient measure when you get DB error.
