Ofcourse this is possible. Check theme.html, and make sure that the parts:
<{foreach item=block from=$xoops_clblocks}>
and
<{foreach item=block from=$xoops_crblocks}>
comes before:
<{foreach item=block from=$xoops_ccblocks}>

Edit: I see that Mithrandir already replied, sorry for double post.

How about this "Curl" issue?

It's installed as an extension yet the mod still says I don't have it installed?

Re: Blocks in center-left and center-right

The positioning of blocks relative to each others is set in theme.html in themes/[yourtheme] - don't do this with the default theme, though. Copy it to a new folder, rename all occurences of "default" in theme.html to the name of the new folder and change the block positions. Upload it and select it in preferences.

I am new to XOOPS and have a couple of questions whether this CMS will be the right one for my project.

I am planning to set up a community site with the following functionality - can XOOPS do it?

1. integrated message board or forum that allows private, non-smtp messaging
2. user database with picture gallery. The users should be able to upload pictures of themselves as an addition to the user profile.
3. granular access control. I want to set up different user groups where the lower level groups have limited access. this is specifically important for only a certain user group being able to view the users pictures in their user profile.
4. voting for users
5. calendar function with access control so only users who belong to a certain group can add new calendar entries.

So what do you think? Is it doable with xoops? If so what modules/add-ons do I need? And if it is not doable with xoops, what cms would you recommend?

thanks so much - your input will save me a lot of time.

Hello, I have submitted my rss news feed to sites such as syndic8 etc. And recieved notice that it not compliant..

(I believe its the "unresolved" date issue...)

And also, there is a password prompt from my end that keeps popping up and I can't figure out why?

Do we change, validate, our feed by actually hacking the backend.php?

Xoops. 2.0.5
Thanks

If you set 2 blocks to be displaying respectively in center-left and center-right so they apperar side by side, they are always display after the blocks set to be display in center-center. Is there a way to have blocks in center-left and center-right to be displayed before blocks in center-center.

I don't know If I make myself clear... Anyway, does someone have an idea?

Thanks for any help !

Thanks Herko !

So, in mean time, would you recommend not using MyDownloads RC1 with XOOPS version 2.0.6?

Thanks your answer !

Re: Theme headerlogo and nav

I think what you are saying is, you have some XOOPS sites, but they don't look the way you want them to. You are trying to create a theme that looks like your screenshot jpg, but, it is proving difficult.

You would like help creating a theme that looks like the screenshot? Am I understanding your question?

If you have the html that makes up the page in your screenshot, I'm sure we can get it move into XOOPS without much trouble.

But, I may be misunderstanding your request.

If you don't need recurring events admin, you can safely use Agenda-X v1.2.2 (even if register_globals are ON). Agenda-X beta 2 is still in beta phase, not really stable yet.

Where can I see if register_globals are of or on?
